Republicans Who Think Rape Is Just Dandy!

Earlier this month Senator Al Franken introduced an amendment to the Defense Appropriations bill that would punish contractors if they "restrict their employees from taking workplace sexual assault, battery and discrimination cases to court.". In other words if a taxpayer-endowed contractor attempted to cover an emplyee on employee rape they would be punished. You see, as it stands now, contractors have their workers sign contracts restricting their employees from taking such cases to court. One would think this bill would pass unanamously without any senators supporting the cover up of rape... But you'd be wrong!!!! Here's a list of the Senators - all Republicans of course - who think rape is just dandy!

Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Bunning (R-KY)
Burr (R-NC)
Chambliss (R-GA)

In case you think that nothing like this ever happens the story of Jamie Leigh Jones will make you angrier than hell (It is the case that prompted Franken to take up this cause).
