Poll: Unfavorable View Of Tea Party On The Rise

Nearly half of all Americans have an unfavorable view of the tea party movement according to a new national poll.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey indicates that 32 percent of the public has a favorable view of the Tea Party. The 32 percent favorable rating is down five points from December.

Forty-seven percent of people questioned say they have an unfavorable view of the tea party, up four points from December and an increase of 21 points from January 2010.

Within 10 years the Tea Party movement will be an embarrassing and distant memory... I hope they saved their white sheets and hoods!

Pennsylvania congressman Tom Marino is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House subcommittee on issues related to African foreign policy

Yesterday while Marino was speaking with the Scranton Times-Tribune yesterday, wondered aloud what our involvement might lead to.

America's Approval Rating Under Obama

Gallup asked respondents in more than 100 countries each year whether they approve or disapprove of the job performance of major countries.

Here's how America shapes up...

The United States continues to achieve higher global approval ratings than China, Russia, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

Does anyone else notice the change in the U.S. global leadership position after 2008... Hmmmm, I wonder what happened back then that would so change everyone opinion of the United States?

Gingrich Was For For A Libyan No Fly Zone Before He Was Against It... And Then For It Again... Sort Of?

On March 7th on the "Greta Van Susteren Show" Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich was asked "What would you do about Libya?"

Gingrich replied...

"Exercise a no-fly zone this evening. … We don’t need to have the United Nations. All we have to say is that we think that slaughtering your own citizens is unacceptable and that we’re intervening."

Watch it here...

Now that Obama has initiated a no-fly zone over Libya, Gingrich has completely reversed his position.

On March 23 on The Today Show Gingrich said: "I would not have intervened. I think there were a lot of other ways to affect Qaddafi. I think there are a lot of other allies in the region we could have worked with. I would not have used American and European forces."

Watch it here...

To explain his obvious flip flop Gingrich then took to Facebook to explain that it was not his fault but was instead what President Obama did that made him switch Positions on position-switching.

Here is what he said on his Facebook Account...

On March 3rd, President Obama said publicly that “it’s time for Gaddafi to go.”

Prior to this statement, there were options to be indirect and subtle to achieve this result without United States military forces.”

The president, however, took those options off the table with his public statement. From the moment of the president’s declaration, he put the prestige and authority of the United States on the line. After March 3, anything short of a successful, public campaign for regime change would have been seen as a defeat for the United States.

To put things into crystal clear perspective on The Neil Cavuto show on September 17, 2004 Gingrich exclaimed emphatically: "You can't flip-flop and be commander-in-chief."

Haley Barbour's Homoerotic "Amorous Mindset"

On the "Bryan Fischer" radio show Haley Barbour was asked if he would support reinstating "Don't Ask Don't Tell". "Of course," Barbour said. He then continued "when you're under fire, and people are living and dying on split-second decisions, you don't need any kind of amorous mindset that can affect saving people's lives and killing bad guys."

Here is a clip containing Barbour's amazing insight into the mind of the homosexual soldier...

Barbour was not the first potential Republican presidential candidate to come out as wanting to reinstate DADT on Fischer's show. Tim Pawlenty and Mike Huckabee had said the same on earlier shows.

The Tragedy In Japan Is Funny... Just Ask Rush Limbaugh And Glenn Beck

I can't fathom Limbaugh's or Beck's attitude towards the people that survived this tragedy let alone the 7 thousand who lost their lives and the 10 thousand still missing. How black does your heart have to be.

Here is Limbaugh's hysterical take on the tragedy...

Here's Beck's gut busting take on the tragedy...

This Is Why Im Am Godless

Rumor has it that the girl in the video is a troll and is trying to prank people... If so, I believe it is beside the point. The mere fact that we are at a point where this type of behavior and speech is being considered plausible and/or acceptable is a statement in itself!

The girl posts on YouTube under the name TamTamPamela and has many followers that share the same views (Here's one). She has recently deleted her account.

If by some reason you thought this was an Isolated incident here are some views on the Japanese earthquake and the resulting tsunami according to Fox News viewers... Click to enlarge.

The Real Reason Behind Union Busting

As you know by now Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is trying to eliminate his states unions by crippling their ability to collectively bargain. Without this option their would essentially be no reason to have a union let alone join one or pay dues to it.

The RNC calls the what is happening in Wisconsin "The fight for America's Future". I assure you it is not .

What it is though is an effort to cripple the Democrats by getting rid of the one group that gives the most donor money to their party... The Unions.

Of the top 10 donors to political parties 7 of them are right leaning or hard right. The lions share of their donations go to Republican causes.

The 3 remaining of the top 10 contributors are all unions and they primarily give to the Democratic party.

The GOP has done the math and know that if they can dismantle the unions they can break the Democrats and their chances of being viable candidates come election time.

If you take away the Democrats largest subsidizers they have no way to fight against the Republicans super PACs and big business that bankroll them.

So the next time you hear a republican say we are destroying collective bargaining because our state is in a fiscal crisis know that they are lying to you.

If you don't believe me just listen to them for yourself. On Fox News Wisconsin Sen. Majority Leader, Scott Fitzgerald forgot he wasn't supposed to tell the truth about why he wanted to bust the unions and let this gem slip...

America Made Newt Become An Adulterer!

Serial presidential campaigner and adulterer Newt Gingrich has taken hypocrisy to a whole... 'notha... level. Gingrich who is often questioned about why he feels he can freely pass judgement on such moral issues such as gay marriage when he has had three wives one of whom he served divorce papers to while she was in the hospital undergoing treatment for cancer! The woman Gingrich left his cancer-stricken wife for was unfortunately stricken with multiple sclerosis so he then divorced her for his current mistress turned wife.

Now remember this... Gingrich did All this while he believed he had the moral authority to impeach Bill Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky!!!!!

When David Brody broached the marriage issue during Gingrich's interview with the Christian Broadcast Network he admitted that he was doing "things that were wrong," in his married life but... it was America's fault!

Here is what he Gingrich said to hit the hypocrisy jack-pot...

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate,"... "And what I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasn't trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them,"

How does that even approach making any kind of sense? I was so "passionate about this country" that I had to screw other women.
I wonder how many men will try that one out on their wives the next time they are caught cheating?

Watch The interview here...

On an interesting note Gingrich's 3rd wife Callista introduced him to Catholicism which he embraced wholeheartedly after he learned about the faiths concept of marriage annulment.

Boehner A Thoughtless Moron

Last Sunday, on the Christian Broadcasting Network, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said a few things that startled some listeners in light of the violence that occurred in Arizona.

When asked about the labor protests in the Midwest Boehner replied....
It's almost as if the shootings in Arizona On January 8, 2011 never happened.

Let me say this in defense of the Speaker. I don't think his statement was made maliciously. I don't even think it was a gaffe. I truly believe it was the said purely out of thoughtlessness. I don't even think at this point he realizes just what he said.

Pandering Huckabee Claims Obama Is Kenyan

Yesterday Mike Huckabee claimed on the "The Steve Malzberg Radio Show," that "one thing that I do know" is that "Obama Grew Up In Kenya". This proves one thing. Huckabee knows nothing.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee then went on to say that President Barack Obama's childhood in Kenya along with his "Kenyan father and grandfather." shaped his world view.

All this despite the fact that Obama did not visit Kenya until he was in his 20s.

Here is the exchange between Huckabee and Malzberg...

Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 to a mother from Kansas and a father from Kenya whom he barely knew. He spent his youth in Hawaii and Indonesia and did not visit his father's homeland until 1987, well after his father's death.

A spokesman attempting damage control told ABC News that Huckabee "misspoke" on the matter and "meant to say the president grew up in Indonesia." and that "The Governor believes the President was born in Hawaii."

You Betcha They're Ignoring Her!

A liberal group named Left Action is promoting "Ignore Sarah Palin Week. They are urging people to change the channel whenever the half governor of Alaska rears her personage.

Left Action
claims it has collected more than 32,500 pledges from partisans willing to take part in the effort, which began Sunday.

The website says "We've tried debating her, arguing with her, boycotting her, voting against her, and yet . . . she keeps coming back. Much like a vampire or a nasty fungus."

Washington Post Columnist Dana Milbank took a similar stance last month, declaring that he would not write about Palin for the entire month of February.

I say to Left Action and Milbank a month, let alone a week, is nowhere near long enough!

Ask Yourself This....

Ask yourself this... If you ran a state that had a budget short fall how would I correct it?

The answer might seem simple. Cut unnecessary expenditures. The devil in the details is which ones.

If you, like many Republican Governors have, said take the money away from middle class working Americans you would be not only a heartless bastard but a whore for big business.

If you, like many Democratic Governors have, said take back tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% of those in your state you would... be a decent human being.

To put it in perspective if the Bush tax cuts were repealed for only the top 2% in only 2 years the country would recoup... Wait for it... $91 BBBBBillion dollars! How's that for cutting the deficit?

Now I know the righties out there would say we cant take back those tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% because they are the one who produce all the jobs.

Let me ask you this... The tax cuts they are receiving have been in place for just about 8 years now... How's that working' out for ya? Where are those jobs you claim they would produce. Oh yeah, that's right, it only lead to the greatest depression we have seen since the 20's.

So next time one of your Republican friends pull that canard out of their ass ask them how the country did under Democratic President Bill Clinton before the Bush tax cuts were implemented. I have a sneaking suspicion that since they have no answer for your question they might remind you that he got a blow job.
