Why Do Republicans Hate The Troops?

Didn't the Republican party used to be the party that stood behind the military without question. Weren't they the party of "support the troops" at any cost party. The party that if you even so much as second guessed the war in Iraq you were instantly hit with "Why do you hate the troops?".

Well that has changed.

If you are deployed to a war-zone and are fighting for our way of life and our 'Mercian freedoms the Republicans back home support you... under one condition.

You'd best not be gay!

Last night at the Fox Republican debate the crowd did it again. First it was cheering Rick Perry's record breaking number of state sanctioned executions. In the next debate it was the now infamous cheering for "Let 'em die" when it came to the uninsured man in a coma. Last night it was the "hate the troops" moment.

the incident occurred when a question was asked by an American serviceman named Stephen Hill inquired whether or not any of the candidates would circumvent the progress recently made which allows gay and lesbian troops ability to serve openly in the military. The question itself was fine the problem was with who was asking it. Everything was just dandy when a soldier serving overseas in Iraq can asked his question but when it turned out that he happened to be gay... crowd didn't waste a moment turning on him.

Yes, they booed an enlisted soldier, deployed overseas, in harms way, who is fighting for his country... based totally on his choice of who to love.

Let me now pose the question to the Republicans in that audience last night... "Why do you hate 2% to 10% of the troops?"

PS - For the record Rick "Frothy" Santorum said he would indeed reinstate DADT.

Here is a hilarious/scary ('cause it's true) clip of Bill Maher and Keith Olbermann trying to talk some sense into a typical Republican voter. It debut on the season opener of Maher's show "Real Time with Bill Maher" which airs on HBO.

Enjoy and dispair....

Breitbart Fantasizes About Killing Liberals

Looking very much like he was just coming off a 3 day vodka and doughnut bender Breitbart spoke to a $45 a head Tea Party crowd in Lexington, Ma.. In his ramblings Breitbart begins to sound like a little boy who had been bullied in grade school and was having disturbing revenge killing fantasies.

Breitbart blubbered this bit of venom to the slobbering crowd who lapped it up like obedient Pavlov's dogs.

I must say, in my non-strategic… ‘cuz I’m under attack all the time,... And so, there are times where I’m not thinking as clearly as I should, and in those unclear moments, I always think to myself, ‘Fire the first shot.’ Bring it on. Because I know who’s on our side. They can only win a rhetorical and propaganda war. They cannot win. We outnumber them in this country, and we have the guns."...

This resulted in copious amounts of laughter from the crowd.

In response to their laughter, Breitbart told the crowd “I’m not kidding,”

He then continued his bully speak.

"They talk a mean game, but they will not cross that line because they know what they’re dealing with... And I have people who come up to me in the military, major named people in the military, who grab me and they go, ‘Thank you for what you’re doing, we’ve got your back."

Later in the clip Breitbart continues to taunt by saying “There’s just a part of me that wants them to walk over that line.”

Poor poor Andrew needs a hug, a bear claw and a large dose of Thorazine.

Here is the Breitbart's brain-fart in it's entirety...

The Tea Party Cheers For Death

After the creepy applause for Rick Perry's death penalty body count at last weeks Republican debate the Tea Party has proven they can be an even creepier audience.

At tonight CNN Tea Party Republican Debate a hypothetical question was posed to Ron Paul (R-Tex) about Americans who are uninsured.

The moderator Wolf Blitzer asked: "What do you tell a guy who is sick, goes into a coma and doesn't have health insurance? Who pays for his coverage? "Are you saying society should just let him die?"

As soon as the question ended several Tea Party faithful in attendance immediately shouted out "Yeah! Yeah!"... and then cheers, whoops and applause could be heard.

This is the "Pro-Life" party? This is the "Family Values" party? This is the evangelical Christian party?

Watch the entire twisted exchange here...

Keep it classy Tea Baggers.

Just A Few Un-American Facebook Posts About The 9/11 Anniversary, Muslims And Obama

Just to give us all a little taste of what Obama (and all of us really) is up against. This is by no means a small segment of society. It's evidenced by the fact that this is what people feel comfortable saying on Facebook for all of their friends and family (who are presumably like minded) to see. It's as embarrassing as it is pathetic.
