Here's the 2nd installation in new section where I list a few quotes and/or news items that have occurred over the day that made my head spin... Enjoy!

Rick Santorum Hates Big Pink Gay Balls...

On his recent bowling excursion Rick Santorum told a young man at South Lanes Bowling and Pizza in La Crosse to avoid using the femininely colored pink ball he had picked up.

"You're not going to use the pink ball," ... "We're not gonna let you do that. Not on camera."

At the prompting of another reporter, Santorum also quipped, "friends don't let friends use pink balls."

Fox Doctor Keith Ablow: Obama's Son 'Wouldn't Look Anything Like Trayvon Martin'
On Lou Dobbs' Fox Business show a doctor named Keith Ablow attacked President Obama for his comments about the recent tragedy when he said: "If I Had A Son, He'd Look Like Trayvon" by saying:

Ablow responded... "If the President had a son, he wouldn't look anything like Trayvon Martin,"... "He'd be wearing a blazer from his prep school, he'd be driving a Beemer and he'd be surrounded by Secret Service. So the president saying 'I can only feel for this kid because he looks physically like me' is absurd ... what about the united view that everybody appreciates what it is to lose a son of any color?"

"It's peculiar," Dobbs said. Ablow went on to say of Obama, "he's got it in for this country.

Republican Lesbian Who Helped Write DOMA, Is Now Lobbying To Repeal It
Kathryn Lehman was a Republican Hill staffer who worked on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the federal law that defines marriage as between one man and one woman.

Now that Lehman has discovered that she is a lesbian she says of her time in the Republican party back in 1996...

"There was nobody married, it wasn’t allowed anywhere," Lehman recalls.

"The view of gay people ... it wasn't Ellen [DeGeneres]. It wasn't Neil Patrick Harris. It was kinky sex and women riding around on motorcycles without shirts on. That was sort of the view that the community projected as well."

"It wasn't people that you know, people that you work with, people just like everybody else."

Pat Robertson Says Homosexuality Is "Related To A Type Of Demonic Possession"During a CBN segment about a man who, according to Robertson, "trolled the streets" for seven years looking for "cheap sex with other men" while his wife sat at home "completely clueless" Robertson says...

"The world today says 'OK, so you are gay, you want to have affairs with men -- that's cool. You have an absolute right to do that, why not?'

"That's not the right attitude. The attitude is that this is sin. It's wrong. And [this man] realized it was wrong but couldn't control it. But that type of conduct is wrong… he is obsessed. He has a compulsion. I would think that it is somehow related to demonic possession…"

Joe Arpaio Fighting To Revive Arizona 'Birther' Bill
Despite the fact that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) vetoed an earlier version of the "Birther" bill Sheriff Joe Arpaio recently began an investigation into the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate, stating that the birther issue is a conspiracy “bigger than Watergate.”

Arpaio went on to say...

"It's very controversial, but something has to be done,"..."It's very important to at least have some law that you have to show that you were born in the United States."

The Right Wing Begins It's Smear Campaign Against Trayvon Martin (1995-2012)

By now you have heard about the tragic murder of Trayvon Martin. If you have heard about this the story you know that the man that murdered him, George Zimmerman, has employed a defense called the "stand your ground law" which was drafted by the National Rifle Association and signed into law by Governor Jeb Bush. If you have heard the entire story you must surely know that this law is in essence a permit to hunt down, gun them down and walk away scott free by saying you were scared of the person.

One thing is for sure is that right wing conservative gun lovers and Republican politicians that live off the NRA's blood money have realized this story is bad news for them.

With the realization that the Trayvon Martin case might have real repercussions with regards to their twisted romance with guns and the free flowing gun lobby money the right wing conservatives have begun a smear campaign against the murdered 17 year old.

In their plan step number one is to employ the race card and remind everyone that Trayvon Martin was... BLACK!!!! To do this conservative columnist and right wing meat puppet Michelle Malkin published a photo of the murderer George Zimerman posed next to a baggy pant wearing, middle finger flashing, shirtless Trayvon Martin.

Here is that picture...
The only problem with this is that the picture is not of Trayvon Martin.

This once again proves that there is no limit to hat the conservatives will do to win. They have no boundaries or scruples. They are soulless.

here are some of the other tactics the right wing have employed to trash Trayvon:
Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, said, “They killed my son, now they’re trying to kill his reputation.”

Santorum Says "Obama's Department of Justice Favors Pornographers Over Children"

So you say you want a president who will address the problems that America faces. You want someone who will deal with the unemployment rate, the debt crisis and the ongoing problem of terrorism.

Well Rick "Roster" Santorum is not the man for you. He has his eyes on an even bigger problem this country of ours faces... Porn! Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has promised to initiate a war on porn if elected. The "War On Terrorism" and the "War On Drugs" will just have to wait!

Santorum posted on his campaign website that “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking,”

Santorum went on the Sunday morning talk shows to reiterate his assertion that "the Obama Department of Justice seems to favor pornographers over children and families,"

Santorum continued: “Under the Bush administration, pornographers were prosecuted much more rigorously than they are under existing law, than they under the Obama administration... So you draw your conclusion.”

Here is the clip where he faps out his theory for Candy Crowly (sounds like a porn name to me!)...
video
Steve Chapman, a writer for the Chicago Tribune took issue with Santorum's claims, which he describes as "just wrong."

"Santorum doesn't seem to notice that as porn has become ever-more available via the Internet, the prevalence of rape has plunged. Since 1991, the national rate has fallen by 86 percent -- compared to a decline in overall violent crime of 65 percent," Chapman wrote.
Remember what James Carville famously said to Bill Clinton during his campaign against George Bush Sr. which still rings true today.... "It's the porn economy stupid!".

So remember when you go into the voting booth this election season that Rick "Rooster" Santorum is thinking of you... And porn!

New Hampshire's House of Representatives passed a bill that would require doctors to tell women that abortion causes breast cancer.
New Hampshire's Tea Party-controlled House of Representatives passed a bill that would mandate a 24-hour waiting period before an abortion and require doctors to tell women that abortion causes breast cancer. This is in light of the fact that there is no proven breast cancer link to abortion according to the:

Arizona officials jump back into President Obama's birther craziness and his eligibility to hold office.
A legislative committee in Arizona endorsed a proposal that requires presidential candidates to swear that they meet the qualifications to be the nation's chief executive and the Arizona secretary of state is expected in the coming days to call for candidates to complete a new form asking eligibility questions, including whether they are natural-born U.S. citizens.

Rick Santorum tells Puerto Ricans to speak English if they want statehood.
Santorum said he did not support a state in which English was not the primary language. In an interview with El Vocero newspaper, Santorum said: "Like any other state, there has to be compliance with this and any other federal law... And that is that English has to be the principal language. There are other states with more than one language such as Hawaii but to be a state of the United States, English has to be the principal language."

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) lumps marijuana in with other drugs that may lead to death. Mitch McConnell said in a Feb. 14 letter to a constituent, who favored cannabis legalization, that narcotics like marijuana lead to all sorts of horrible repercussions, even death. In the letter McConnell said: "Because of the harm that substances like marijuana and other narcotics pose to our society, I have concerns about this legislation. The detrimental effects of drugs have been well documented: short-term memory loss, loss of core motor functions, heightened risk of lung disease, and even death,"

Fox News Buries The Positive Job Numbers, Again

In today's edition of the Politico, Dylan Byers reported, oddly enough, on the reporting of the positive job numbers that came out this morning. His report revolved mainly around the fact that all the major news sources led with the positive economic report... All of them except for one. Can guess who let the story slip through the cracks. Here are screen grabs of all the major news outlets as of 10:00 am Friday morning...

Even Conservative Cartoonists Can't Suppress Their Hate

Never let it be said that a healthy portion of the right wing isn't racist and misogynist. These two "comics" prove just that.

This one is from conservative cartoonist Mike Lester from the Rome (Ga.) News-Tribune... It depicts Fluke as a prostitute and President Obama as her pimp.
This one is from right wing cartoonist Gary McCoy portraying a Sandra Fluke looking 'pro choice' woman as fat, ugly, selfish, and obnoxious. Stay classy conservatives!

Obama Murdered Breitbart... For This?

The last few days the interwebs have been ablaze with the rumor that right wing provocateur Andrew Breitbart was murdered by President Obama's hit squad for claiming he had possession of video of a speech Barack Obama gave in 1990 at Harvard Law School. In the video Obama can be seen defending Harvard’s first tenured black professor Derrick Bell for resigning in protest due to Harvard's lack of tenured women of color.

Breitbart claimed that he would release the full and unedited tape and that it would provide evidence that Obama has long held radical political beliefs.

The problem with the conspiracy theory is that in 2008 FRONTLINE ran the same footage of the speech as a part of an exploration of Obama’s time at Harvard Law School. It’s been online at our site and on YouTube since then.

I believe that President Obama really overacted on this one. The video shows nothing. He should save his private hit squad of black, Muslim, ninja assassins for more important murderings!

An Observation On Santorum's Campaigning

Ricky The "Rooster"!

I believe we now know why Rick Santorum doesn't want anyone to go to college.

He doesn't want anyone to have fun like he did!

Apparently Santorum was far from being ostracized for his conservative politics at Penn State University.

His college peers now attest that Rick was quite the bro back in the day. Fellow Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity members recalled Santorum as a guy who threw keggers learned as well as taught how to chug beer, enjoyed regular poker games and Steelers football. Quite the big man on campus.

During his junior year, he roomed with John Koury who says: Everybody called him "Rooster." And Rooster liked to chug".

Koury continued "We literally rolled kegs down the dormitory floor," "On Fridays, when everyone got back from class, we'd go get a quarter-keg from the distributor, there'd be 20 or 30 of us in the room. We'd drink it and go down to the dining hall...

Friend Christine Grasso says "Honest to God, he taught me how to chug a beer" Grasso went on to say "Back then, you used to chug beer and, you know, challenge each other... He was amazing. He could chug a beer in like one gulp."

Grasso also claimed that "Rooster could beat everyone at beer-chugging". She explained the Rooster's technique: "You just open your throat."

By the way, when I went to college the dude who smoked the pipe was usually a prick.

What a phoney prick snob.

Cowardly Limbaugh Apologizes

Today Rush Limbaugh has apologized for calling Sandra Fluke a “slut” and “prostitute”. I guess in the reality that his sponsors were fleeing his show has forced Rush to issue such a statement. In my opinion the fact that Limbaugh would issue said apology in the face of severe monetary penalties shows Rush to be the real whore here!

Note to Rush: A whore is what we call someone who does something solely for financial gain.

Here is Limbaugh's apology in full:

"For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.

I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit? In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices."

What do you think? Is it a real and sincere apology?

Another reason for the mea culpa migh be the fact that that Sandra Fluke had suggested she might sue Limbaugh for slander. Mo' Money!

ANDREW BREITBART DEAD - 1969-2012

The conservative movement just got a little bit better.
