Republican's Anti-Obama Campaign Started Night Of Obama's Inauguration

In author Robert Draper's book "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives he has detailed a frighteningly Machiavellian meeting that took place the very night of Barack Obama's inauguration.

Right after President Obama took the oath of office Republican lawmakers and strategists met up for several hours in the Caucus Room, a high-end D.C. establishment, to conjure up ways to submarine his presidency.

According to Robert Draper's book the 15 participants of that night's meeting were Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Pete Sessions (Texas), Jeb Hensarling (Texas), Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) and Dan Lungren (Calif.), along with Republican Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), John Ensign (Nev.) and Bob Corker (Tenn.). The non-lawmakers present included Newt Gingrich and Frank Luntz. Noticeably absent from the meeting was Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) because of their admitted hatred for Frank Luntz.

Here is an excerpt from the book that details how the night played out...
The dinner lasted nearly four hours. They parted company almost giddily. The Republicans had agreed on a way forward:

Go after Geithner. (And indeed Kyl did, the next day: ‘Would you answer my question rather than dancing around it—please?’)

Show united and unyielding opposition to the president’s economic policies. (Eight days later, Minority Whip Cantor would hold the House Republicans to a unanimous No against Obama’s economic stimulus plan.)

Begin attacking vulnerable Democrats on the airwaves. (The first National Republican Congressional Committee attack ads would run in less than two months.)

Win the spear point of the House in 2010. Jab Obama relentlessly in 2011. Win the White House and the Senate in 2012.
Draper then wrote that Newt Gingrich on the way out said "You will remember this day... You’ll remember this as the day the seeds of 2012 were sown."

So the next time you hear a Republican or some talking head on Fox News talk about how little Obama has accomplished during his first term we will now know it was because the the Republicans rigged the game before Barack Obama had even started playing.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott Vetoes Funding For Rape Crisis Centers

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Florida's Republican Governor Rick Scott doesn't care.

Scott sent a clear message to the women of Florida as well as The Florida Council Against Sexual Violence this week when he vetoed $1.5 million in funding for 30 rape crisis centers.

State lawmakers had allotted the money to offset an increase in need and a lack of sufficient funding for victim services.

When asked why Scott vetoed the funding a spokesperson it was because that particular line item in the state budget because the state already funds sexual violence programs, and nobody was able to make it clear to him why rape crisis centers needed the new funding.

Apparently he just didn't listen well enough because Jennifer Dritt, the executive director of the Florida Council tried to explain to him why the funding was needed.

Dritt said "We gave them information about the number of new survivors we have and we showed them that these rape crisis centers have waiting lists. Survivors are having to wait weeks, sometimes six weeks, in some programs three months to be seen. We included quotes from the programs about the waiting lists and what services they weren't able to offer because of a lack of money. There is clearly an unmet need."

Another fact that further discredits Gov. Scott's claims is that for the $6.5 million that he claimed the government provided for rape prevention and sexual assault services is distributed to education programs, not actual crisis centers serving the victims.

And so continues the Republicans war on women.

The Catholic Church: Obama = Hitler & Stalin

Illinois Catholic bishop Daniel Jenky has come under fire for a message he delivered at St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria. In his Sunday homily Jenky claimed that President Barack Obama was on "a similar path" as "Adolf Hitler" and "Joseph Stalin".

Here are his comments in their entirety...

"Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services, and health care.

In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama – with his radical, pro abortion and extreme secularist agenda, now seems intent on following a similar path."

Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments!?!?!?!

Here is the audio of bishop Jenky's sermon if like me you still don't believe what you've just read. The highlighted part comes in at 3:15 but listen to the clip in it's entirety for it's full effect... it's a special crazy that hast to be heard.

Ummm. ok. That's just nuts right there. He sounds like Ted Nugent in a frock!

As a result of these insane comments Rev. Barry Lynn, a prominent advocate for the separation of church and state, has filed a formal complaint with the Internal Revenue Service accusing the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria of violating federal law by intervening in a political campaign.

As of today there has been no word from Jenky's superiors about his comments.

Embarrassing Crazy Hate Ted Nugent Has Spewed This Week

By now you have heard that the "Nuge" has excreted another pile of screed from his rapidly deteriorating mind. It is once again chock full o' misogyny, racism and various other forms of hate-speech.

Ted's rant started while he was addressing a throng of at least 18 of his most ardent admirers at the NRA convention in St. Louis.

Here are, in list form, the drivel that escaped Nugent's mouth and remember he is saying all this vile crap to a bunch of gun 'enthusiasts"...
  • "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year,"
  • "If you can't galvanize and promote and recruit people to vote for Mitt Romney, we're done."
  • "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?"
  • “(Barack Obama's) vile, evil America-hating administration is wiping its ass with the Constitution.”
  • "It isn't the enemy that ruined America. It's good people who bent over and let the enemy in,"
  • "(Debbie) Wasserman Schultz is such a brain-dead, soulless idiot," Nugent told Loesch. "I could not be more proud that this soulless, heartless idiot feebly attempts to find fault with Ted Nugent, because I am on the right track and she just encourages me to stand stronger."
  • (Nancy Pelosi is a) "sub-human scoundrel."
  • "Varmints are sometimes clever, but they're really easy to outmaneuver,"
  • "If the coyote's in your living room pissing on your couch, it's not the coyote's fault. It's your fault for not shooting him."
  • "I think Mitt Romney's already denounced my guitar playing because it's too sexy,"
Here is Nugent doubling down of his rant....
  • "I'm a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally, and there are some power-abusing, corrupt monsters in our federal government that despise me because I have the audacity to speak the truth."
  • "I spoke at the NRA and will stand by my speech. It's 100 percent positive. It's about we the people taking back our American dream from the corrupt monsters in the federal government under this administration, the communist czars he has appointed."
Here are several video and audio clips that containing Ted's rants over the last several days...

Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul told CNN that "Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from."

"Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil," she added.

That is some weak ass shit right there!

The Secret Service is reportedly investigating Nugent in the wake of his Saturday tirade at the NRA convention. It just might be largest group of people interested in Ted Nugent since the early 80's.

Discussing Rick Santorum's Campaign

Allen West And The Red Menace

The man who I often refer to simply as "an asshole' has once again proven me correct.

During a town hall at Jensen Beach asshole Allen West was asked by the moderator of the event: "What percentage of the American legislature do you think are card-carrying Marxists or International Socialist?"

No he actually asked the question....

Well West was quick to answer by saying: "It's a good question. I believe there's about 78 to 81 members of the Democrat [sic] Party who are members of the Communist Party. It's called the Congressional Progressive Caucus."

Here is the asshole in action...
When asked why he would say such a ridiculous thing West spokeswoman Angela Melvin claimed it was because "The Communist Party has publicly referred to the Progressive Caucus as its allies."

So by that reasoning since the Ku Klux Klan supports the Republican party in the presidential election due to Barack Obama's race it would stand to reason that all members of the GOP are in the Klan. Yes even asshole Allen West, despite being an African American, would be a Klan member by his own moronic reasoning.

I know the comparison is over the top but c'mon I'm just following his whacko analogy!

During the same event West also said President Obama would "never stand here before you" and debate him because he said Obama "was too scared."

Once again Allen West really is an asshole.

Foster Friess One Ups His "Aspirin Between Their Knees" Comment

Foster Friess, or as he's more popularly known as Rick Santorum's super pac billionaire and resident gaffe machine, has once again stuck his foot in his mouth. You might remember that during the contraception debate he famously said "Back in my days, they used Bayer Aspirin for contraception. The gals put it between their knees and it wasn't that costly,"

lol.....?

Well now that his boy Santorum has dropped out of the presidential race Friess has created controversy again this time by using gun imagery to weigh in on the state of the 2012 race.

"There are a lot of things that haven't been hammered at because Rick and Mitt have been going at each other," Friess said during an interview on Fox Business News. "Now that they have trained their barrels on President Obama, I hope his teleprompters are bulletproof."

Remember that earlier this year, at a campaign stop at a shooting range in Louisiana, a woman shouted, "Pretend it's Obama," while Santorum was taking target practice.

Do they never learn?

Ann Romney Wants To Unzip Stiff Mitt

Ann Romney, asked in an interview last Monday if she has to defend her husband against charges that he is too "stiff," responded, "I guess we'd better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not!"

Listen to the clip here...

Romney Confronted By Ron Paul Supporter About His Mormon Faith

Ron Paul supporter, 28-year-old Bret Hatch, asked Romney whether he agreed with a passage from the Book of Mormon that describes a cursing of people with a "skin of blackness." Romney's staff took away the microphone before the Green Bay man could read the passage.

"I'm sorry, we're just not going to have a discussion about religion in my view, but if you have a question I'll be happy to answer your question," Romney said when Hatch then asked whether Romney thought it was a sin for interracial couples to have children.

"No. Next question," Romney responded and then quickly turned his back on the man.

Here is the video of the confrontation...
Awkward.

FOX Anchor Wonders If "Obama Threatened Chelsea Clinton's Life?"

Fox News anchor Heather Childers went on Twitter and linked to a story suggesting that the Obama campaign may have threatened to murder Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter Chelsea.

Childers, who is a weekend and early morning anchor for the network, tweeted an article from godfatherpolitics.com titled, "Did Barack Obama Campaign Threaten Life of Chelsea Clinton to Keep Parents Silent on Obama’s Ineligibility?"

Here is Childers tweet...
The article suggests that someone associated with then-Sen. Obama's 2008 election campaign threatened to kill Chelsea Clinton should President Clinton talk about "Obama’s birth certificate or lack thereof."

I suggest that Heather Childers is a balloon head.

Conservatism Linked To Low Intelligence And "Low-Effort" Thinking... Duh!

In February a study published in the journal "Psychological Science" showed that children who score low on intelligence tests gravitate toward socially conservative political views and "Greater Prejudice" in adulthood. This is attributed to the fact that conservative ideologies stress "structure and order" that make it easier to understand a complicated world.

Now there's the new study linking conservative ideologies to "low-effort" thinking.

According to psychologist Scott Eidelman of the University of Arkansas "People endorse conservative ideology more when they have to give a first or fast response,"

Dr. Eidelman went on to say that in their studies "low-effort thought promotes political conservatism, not that political conservatives use low-effort thinking."

Another interesting finding in the study revealed that when bar patrons were asked about social issues it turned out, the political viewpoints of patrons with high blood alcohol levels were more likely to be conservative than were those whose blood alcohol levels were low.

When the researchers conducted similar interviews in the lab, they found that people who were asked to evaluate political ideas quickly or while distracted were more likely to express conservative viewpoints.

"Keeping people from thinking too much...or just asking them to deliberate or consider information in a cursory manner can impact people's political attitudes, and in a way that consistently promotes political conservatism," Dr. Eidelman said.

The study was published online in the journal "Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin."

Mitt Romney Starts His Swiftboat Campaign On Obama's Religion

Mitt Romney has begun the new campaign strategy of attacking Barack Obama's religion. Not that Obama is a radical secret Muslim. No, that he is something worse... a non believer!

Check out Romney's opening salvo fired in his speech on the Affordable Care Act while at a town hall in Milwaukee

"I think in this country there is a war on religion. I think there is a desire to establish a religion in America known as secularism and I know based upon reports that the Obama administration gave this a lot of thought... A lot of discussion. this was not some little side issue that no one though about.. They gave it a lot of thought."

Here is the video...
Romney then goes into prearranged talking points about The Affordable Health Care Act requiring certain religious institution's insurance policies to make birth control available for employees that want it.

We all know that a separate insurance company would be tasked with the provision on any birth control that was requested thus taking the burden off any institution that found the practice of birth control offensive or unsavory.

No, this salvo Mitt fired off in the beginning of the video is nothing less than swift-boating Barack Obama on his religion.

When George Bush had the problem of facing a true war hero in John Kerry he attacked and destroyed that good man's military service. Bush did this because his military service was one of privilege and comfort. Therefore he maligned Kerry's military service.

Romney is doing the same thing here just with religion. Mitt has the problem that his Mormon faith is not well received in his predominantly Christian based Republican party so he is painting Obama as an Atheist.

By the way, in polling, Atheism polls just as badly as if Obama were a Muslim. Now if they can only get the voters to believe Obama is a Muslim Atheist!

Liz Trotta's Racial Gaffe Is Amazingly Terrible

While on Fox News contributor Liz Trotta had a hatefest with how black anchors have been covering the Treyvon Martin case. She railed against every African American that has made a peep about the case. She decried the unfair and "ugly to watch for it's latent bias and it's practical conviction of George Zimmerman". I guess she is standing by her Fox New brethren Geraldo Rivera when he single handedly convicted Treyvon Martin's hoodie as being "As Responsible For Trayvon Martin’s Death As George Zimmerman" or perhaps Sean Hannity when he said "Is It Possible It Was Just A Horrible Accident?

She singled out NBC and MSNBC (being "the worst offender") as having terrible black pundits. Among these Trotta singles out are Charles Blow of the New York Times columnist, Lester Holt and Tamron Hall. the latter two especially offended Trotta's sensibilities for doing a segment on "Rock Center with Brian Williams" Trotta said of them "Where's the objectivity in this and why do you involve your black reporters and anchors?". She then went on to say that sharing their personal stories "can only hurt their credibility."

Trotta saved her most damning comments for Rev. Al Sharpton who hosts the show Politics Nation on MSNBC. She slams the network for even letting Al Sharpton have a show on their network since he might actually share his opinion on the subject which would obviously be jaded by his skin color and should thereby have his voice disqualified from the discussion.

The moment of wonderfully subconscious truth happens at exactly 3 minutes and 39 seconds into the clip. It is at this point that Liz, while slamming MSNBC for saying that Sharpton brings a "Unique perspective" to the situation, says she knows that this phrase is code for when "they" (the liberal media) are reaching really far to make their liberal case without any facts to .... BLACK IT UP" .... YES..... "BLACK IT UP"!

I spit up my club soda!

Watch here via Mediate and remember to listen carefully at 3:39 into the clip...
Later on in the clip after the anchor Gregg Jarrett points out that African American Reverends Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton are ignoring "black on black homicides in America" Liz chimes in "Well that's very true, this is the real world, the world you point out now is the world we live in which is black crime... ".

The world we live in is black crime....?!?!?!?!

I swear the subconscious mind is an amazing thing and Liz Trotta is an amazing racist.
