On July 17th Eric Garner was being arrested for selling loose cigarettes when New York City Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo placed him in an illegal choke-hold. While being choked to death Garner pleaded with the officers at least 11 time saying "I can't breathe".

After examining Garner's body the medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.

Despite all the evidence to the contrary last night the grand jury said it would not indict the police officer who choked Eric Garner to death.

Here is the video of the incident (*Warning graphic and upsetting)...

In the wake of what happened in Ferguson, Missouri last week this is has reached a point where the accusations of the system being broken can no longer be denied.
