How Many Stupid Things Can Ben Carson Say About The Oregon School Shooting In 24 Hours?

As you know by now there was a mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon last week. In the rampage a mentally disturbed man walked onto the campus and murdered nine men and women with three handguns and a semi-automatic assault rifle.

After this horrific event, retired neurosurgeon and Republican presidential candidate, Benny Carson has seen fit to go off on a 24 hour gaff-a-thon. If the things that came out of this idiots mouth weren't so upsetting his performance might have been considered impressive. It was as though Carson were on a mission to out-dumb his previous statements just to see how deep a hole he could dig himself.

Ben Carson began his campaign of stupidity on Monday in a Facebook question-and-answer session when he said that, as a doctor, he had removed many bullets from the bodies of gunshot victims. But he said the right to bear arms was paramount and that

I never saw a body with bullet holes that was more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away,

Wow. Starting off with a bang.

Next, in a USA Today’s Capital Download interview that came out later in the day, Carson suggested it might make sense to arm kindergarten teachers, and in the same breath rejected any idea to restore the countries ban on military-style assault weapons saying…

If I had a little kid in kindergarten somewhere I would feel much more comfortable if I knew on that campus there was a police officer or somebody who was trained with a weapon. If the teacher was trained in the use of that weapon and had access to it, I would be much more comfortable if they had one than if they didn’t.

Carson visits with the Fox & Friends to question shooting victims choice to be murdered

Next in the Tour de Dumb Carson appeared on Tuesday's edition of Fox & Friends. The trouble started when the crazy kids on the curvy couch asked his opinion about the White House's announcement that the president would “visit privately with families of victims,”. Carson then replied that President Barack Obama should skip visiting Oregon after the recent mass shooting saying…

Imagine a politician politicizing something. When do we have people that actually want to solve our problems rather than just politicize everything?

Co-host Brian Kilmeade then wondered aloud…

But, Dr. Carson, would you go? If the people of the community say don’t go, would you still go if you were president on Friday?

To which Carson replied…

Probably not. I mean, I would probably have so many things on my agenda that I would go to the next one.

Yes... You read that correctly. Carson would simply wait and go to "the next one"!!!!

Later in the same interview with Fox & Friends Carson was asked to put himself in the shoes of someone approached by a gunman and asked to declare his or her faith.

I’m glad you asked that question. Not only would I probably not cooperate with him, I would not just stand there and let him shoot me. I would say, ‘Hey guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.’

Watch the incredible callousness as Carson makes these inane comments and then proceeds to smile and chuckle to himself...

Carson was not finished. Now it was time to staunch the flood of criticism he was receiving. For that he quickly booked a spot on Fox News' "The Kelly File" later that night. When the subject came up Kelly asked him about his earlier remarks.

"The accusation there, Dr. Carson, is that you appeared tone deaf and that you seemed callous in the laughter about a massacre and what you would have done,"

Carson responded...

"I'm laughing at them and their silliness,

Kelly asked...

Carson replied...

"The people asking that question. Of course, you know, if everybody attacks that gunman, he's not going to be able to kill everybody. But if you sit there and let him shoot you one by one, you're all going to be dead,"

Still Ben Carson refused to back away from his idiotic remarks. The very next day he went on CBS This Morning and once again argued that everyone should have attacked the shooter and then tried to justify all of his previous comments by saying that...

"I want to plant in people's minds what to do in a situation like this because unfortunately this is probably not going to be the last time this happens,"

Watch it here…

This man is so not ready for prime time. I believe he is either under the influence of psychotropic drugs or moderately brain damaged. Regardless of which it is I guess this obviously makes him a perfect Republican candidate for the presidency since his poll numbers are now skyrocketing.
