The Worst Statements Tweets & Comments About The Planned Parenthood Shootings

Editor's note: I apologize for not having this list up sooner. The mass shootings are coming so quickly now it is hard to keep up with them. I will have a similar list up for the San Bernadino shootings later tonight.

It has been a week since the shootings at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic. In that time we have come to understand the shooters motives. He was an ultra conservative Christian who was adamantly anti-choice. He had a criminal record and he had access to guns. Given these facts please read the following statements, tweets and comments and try to divine what type of people seem to feel the need the shout the loudest that it wasn't their fault. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Let's begin...

Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz has an alternate theory about the Planned Parenthood shooter, reports the Texas Tribune. When a reporter reminded Cruz it has been reported Dear made a comment about “baby parts” while being apprehended, Cruz replied…

"It’s also been reported that he was registered as an independent and a woman and a transgendered leftist activist. If that’s what he is, I don’t think it’s fair to blame on the rhetoric on the left."

Once again I reiterate that the shooters former wife says that the Planned Parenthood shooter was conservative, religious and vehemently anti-choice.

Carly Fiorina

Fiorina also responded to the shooting by calling the attack a “tragedy”. She also denied that the right wing's rhetoric about Planned Parenthood selling babies’ body parts could have contributed to violence towards the organization. On Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Fiorina, who at the second GOP debate regaled viewers with a grotesque and utterly false story about Planned Parenthood workers yanking the brain out of a "living, kicking" fetus, how her words might inspire someone to take drastic action. Fiorina once again lied about her claims that Planned Parenthood sells baby parts and then proceeded to blame Liberals…

First, it is not alleged. Planned Parenthood acknowledged several weeks ago they would no longer take compensation for body parts, which sounds like an admission they were doing so.”
This is so typical of the left to immediately demonize the messenger, because they don’t agree with the message. What I would say to anyone who tries to link this terrible tragedy to anyone who opposes abortion or opposes the sale of body parts is, this is typical left-wing tactics.

Mike Huckabee

Former Gov. Mike Huckabee commented on the attack on CNN’s State of the Union by deceitfully reiterating claims that Planned Parenthood was selling body parts…

I think that’s a little bit disingenuous on the part of Planned Parenthood to blame people, who have a strong philosophical disagreement with the dismembering of human babies and with the selling of body parts, to say that we would like to retaliate by sending some mad man into a clinic to kill people,

Donald Trump

While on Chuck Todd's Meet the Press Trump called the shooting "a terrible thing" but mere seconds later denouncing Planned Parenthood and essentially blamed the organization for making Trump supporters angry.

"I will tell you there is a tremendous group of people that think it's terrible, all of the videos that they've seen with some of these people from Planned Parenthood talking about it like you're selling parts to a car ... there are a lot of people that are very unhappy about that," Trump said. "I can say that, because I go to rallies…I see a lot of anxiety and I see a lot of dislike for Planned Parenthood. There's no question about that."

Trent Franks

In an interview with The Hill Republican congressman Trent Franks claimed that there’s a commonality in how Planned Parenthood when he said...

"What this person did was evil… it should remind us all of the common denominator that Planned Parenthood has with individuals like this who have no respect for innocent human life. It should only increase our commitment to defund organizations … that further this non-ethic of disregarding the sanctity of human life.

Rush Limbaugh

Limbaugh blubbered this steaming pile of crap on his radio show...

I know, I know, the staff is all worried now because they think I'm going to get roasted here for blaming the victim with my simple innocent question: why doesn't Planned Parenthood get blamed? Before you go off the deep end on that may I remind you a couple things. After 9/11 what was one of the most frequent questions you heard in the drive-by media? I'll tell you what it was. What did we do to make them so mad that they felt they had to do this to us? Do you remember the State Department convened a -- I don't know what -- a forum, a panel, some such thing -- they had a bunch of experts to come in to examine what it is we had done to make the hijackers on 9/11 so mad. In other words the left in this country immediately sought to assign blame to the United States for the terror attack on 9/11. And they did not hesitate to do this. It didn't take until the next day for this question to start reverberating all over the country. What did we do to cause it? So I'm simply trying to learn the way the left thinks about these things and incorporate it here into the way I do my program. Barack Obama blames this country for stuff that happens here and he runs around world and apologizes for it. OK, so if Planned Parenthood had this incident and the shooter starts running around talking about no more body parts, who is it that's dealing in body parts? If the left were being consistent they would ask themselves what have we done to make people so mad at us?

Charles Payne

Fox's Charles Payne and the girls of Fox's "Outnumbered" riffed on the sickening tropes of President Obama disarming the police and the need for even more guns in America...

Charles Payne:
The other side of this, guys, what about Harris when they brought in those military style vehicles to help get those people to safety? We're talking about disarming our police. We're talking about demilitarizing our police because it's not right for them to have those kinds of things.

Harris Faulkner:
He was shooting at police officers.

Payne:
And also, what if more people had guns there, guys? What if people could've defended themselves?

Andrea Tantaros:
It may have been a different outcome.

Payne:
Yeah.

Tantaros:
But they don't want to talk about that.

Payne:
No.

Bo Dietl

On Foxs’ “The Five” Dietl went off on this disjointed rant that had little if anything to do with the subject off the Planned Parenthood shooter...

Again, this is our president acting like a fool again. I mean to see something like this, we noticed when the attacks occurred in Paris, when the cops were in their car getting attacked, we have to prepare ourselves. This is a war....It’s going to open up here in America, and we’ve got to be prepared. And we also got to start training all our officers in the use of high powered equipment. We’re dealing with bad people here. Our little 9 millimeters are not going to do anything against somebody with an AK-47.

JoAnn Windholz

Adams County state Rep. JoAnn Windholz took a bold stance and blamed Planned Parenthood for the shooting issuing this statement in the wake of the attack...

Violence is never the answer, but we must start pointing out who is the real culprit. The true instigator of this violence and all violence at any Planned Parenthood facility is Planned Parenthood themselves. Violence begets violence. So Planned Parenthood: YOU STOP THE VIOLENCE INSIDE YOUR WALLS.

Pastor McCall Brunson

Florida, Jacksonville First Baptist Church Pastor McCall Brunson used the tragedy in Colorado Springs to incite further violence against the women’s health organization.

In light what what we’re living through the person who sins will die.

He then elaborated by talking about Planned Parenthood and organization president Cecile Richards, and demonized both as members of the congregation shouted “Amen!

I can get onto Planned Parenthood here. Who in the world is better to represent them than that president of Planned Parenthood? You’ve seen her on Ellen DeGeneres, you’ve seen her before Congress. She is so astute, she is so smart, she so sharp, she is attractive, she is so clean cut. But let me tell you something. She hates our God because she loves death.

Army of God

The militant anti-abortion group Army of God, which has been linked to several terrorist attacks on abortion providers, posted a statement on their website declaring that Planned Parenthood got what it deserved with last week’s shooting…

Planned Parenthood Colorado Springs
Robert Lewis Dear aside, Planned Parenthood murders helpless preborn children. These murderous pigs at Planned Parenthood are babykillers and they reap what they sow. In this case, Planned Parenthood selling of aborted baby parts came back to bite them.

Right Wing Comments/Tweets

Finally here are some comments gleaned from the Fox News website by the website NewsCorpse. The posts were copied from their breaking story about the shooting. Enjoy…

Tim Peacock of Peacock Panache took screenshots of the worst comments left by right-wingers on Breitbart.

And here are some odds and ends if the pervious comments didn't nauseate you enough...
