SUPER TUESDAY 2.0: Caucus & Primary Updates

Up for grabs last night for the Republicans was, in alphabetical order, Hawaii, Idaho, Michigan and Mississippi. For the Democrats Michigan and Mississippi were in play.

When the dust settled Donald Trump dispatched his Republican rivals in the Michigan and Mississippi presidential primaries and won the Hawaii caucuses while Sen. Ted Cruz won the Idaho Republican primary.

The real fireworks were in the Dem's races. While Hillary Clinton absolutely crushed Bernie sanders in Mississippi, Senator Sanders turned around and scored a huge upset win in the Michigan primaries. With this win Sanders threatens to prolong a Democratic campaign that Hillary Clinton appeared to have all but locked up last week.

Here's are the numbers after the delegates were tallied...

For the Republicans

For The Democrats

The next contest for the GOP is on Mar 12 when Washington, D.C. will reward it's 19 delegates to the winner.

For the Democrats the next contests are on Mar 15 when Florida (214 delegates), Illinois (156 delegates), Missouri (71 delegates), North Carolina (107 delegates), Ohio (143 delegates) will be at stake.
