WISCONSIN PRIMARY RESULTS: Cruz Trounces Trump, Sanders Beats Clinton

Tonight Wisconsin Republicans  and Democrats went to the polls to vote for their choice for a presidential nominee.

The Republicans of Wisconsin helped Ted Cruz to an easy win over the present Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, dealing a blow to his hopes of accumulating enough delegates for the party's nomination. Cruz’s double-digit win over Trump has exponentially increased the likelihood of a contested Republican convention this July in Cleveland.

On the Democrats side Bernie Sanders win helped him to build momentum in his fight against frontrunner Hillary Clinton and dented her commanding lead in delegates. Sanders, however, owes his big night to independents who were allowed to cast ballots in the open contest.

When the dust settled heres how it all played out...
