Donald Trump Says Something Stupid #15: Trump Accuses US Troops of Stealing Money In Iraq And Afghanistan (VIDEOS)

Five time draft dodger Donald Trump doesn't care much for our US military and the soldiers who serve in it. Whether he is accusing John McCain of not being a war hero or using military veterans as pawns in a fundraising scam to get out of a debate.

Whatever the reason it is Trump’s only use for the US military to garner good press and votes.

Now, Trump has once again spit in the eye of our servicemen and women by accusing Iraq and Afghanistan War veterans of stealing millions of dollars from the U.S. government that was meant to help rebuild those war-torn countries.

At a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, about 90 miles northwest of Fort Bragg, one of the country’s largest and best-known Army bases Trump said...

Iraq, crooked as hell. How about bringing baskets of money? Millions and millions of dollars and handing it out? I want to know, who were the soldiers who had that job? Because I think they’re living very well right now.

Watch here...

When contacted for an explanation Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said the comments did not refer to theft by Americans but instead “Mr. Trump was referring to Iraqi soldiers,” she wrote in an email.

A blatant lie if you read Trump's exact quote. Nevertheless It can be proven untruthful even more definitively if we examine previous similar statements Trump has made about American soldiers stealing money back in 2015.

At a Sept. 30 really in Keene, during remarks about Iraqi government corruption, Trump segued into a discussion about cash spent by American authorities suggesting that American soldiers charged with distributing money embezzled it instead...

They didn’t really want to fight for Iraq because Iraq is a corrupt government, you know. Remember when they were handing 50 million dollars of cash? Cash! They were going through Afghanistan paying off, I want to know who were the soldiers that are carrying cash of 50 million dollars? Cash! How stupid are we? I wouldn’t be surprised, if those soldiers, I wouldn’t be surprised if the cash didn’t get there, I have to be honest.

Watch here…

When asked about the Keene NH remarks Hicks did not have a response.

Trump’s remarks come on the Army’s 241st birthday after the Continental Army was formed on June 14, 1775.
