Fox News And The Republicans Make Sure ISIS Receive The Propoganda They Want... Hoo-Ray?

Yesterday The Federal Bureau of Investigations released the transcript of the 911 call made by the Orlando nightclub shooter during his rampage.

The Justice Department thought it would be a wise and prudent move to redact segments where the shooter, Omar Mateen, pledged allegiance to the terroist organization ISIS and it's leader Al Baghdadi.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch

Attorney General Loretta Lynch expalined the Justice departments position on various Sunday shows previous to the tapes release saying...

What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda. We will hear him talk about some of those things, but we are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance…

Director of the FBI James Comey

James Comey, the director of the FBI, has said made it clear that the transcripts will be redacted

to avoid re-victimizing those people that went through through this horror,

FBI Special-Agent-In Charge Ronald Hopper

FBI Special-Agent-In Charge Ronald Hopper gave additional reasoning during a press conference saying...

"Part of the redacting is meant not to give credence to individuals who have done terrorists acts in the past. We are not going to propagate their rhetoric, their violent rhetoric and we see no value  in putting those individuals back out there... We are trying to prevent this from happening again and for cowards like this one

But these reasons held no water with Fox News and the usual suspects in the right wing media who were outraged over the FBI's decision to redact portions of the transcripts. They believed that the Obama administration was trying to downplay the role of “radical Islamic Terrorism” in the Orlando shooting. They demanded the DOJ un-redact the documents so the country could fully see who was, in their minds, directly responsible for the attacks.

GOP Speaker of the House Paul Ryan

Picking up on the right wing medias lead Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan immediately issued a statement denouncing the decision to release the transcript of the Orlando shooter’s 911 call without references to ISIS saying...

Selectively editing this transcript is preposterous! We know the shooter was a radical Islamist extremist inspired by ISIS... The administration should release the full, unredacted transcript so the public is clear-eyed about who did this and why.

Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani went full Nazi on Monday's edition of "Fox & Friends...

"That would mean during the Second World War if I called up and said 'I am part of the Nazi movement, I've joined here in the United States, and I'm going kill 49 Americans and we left out 'Nazi movement,'"

Richard Grenell

Richard Grenell, who served in the George W. Bush administration as a spokesman for the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said the decision to censor the words has "policy implications" and is "not just a simple wording issue."

"The fact that Loretta Lynch is somehow redacting the enemy, the specific enemy that is being called out here is really a PR move. You only redact information when it reveals sources and methods, our intelligence-gathering techniques that we don’t want out there. That is the only reason. We have the same problem in the Hillary emails, where they’re redacting information for PR purposes."

* Nice! He even snuck in a reference to Clinton's emails.

House Homeland Security Chair Michael McCaul (R)

House Homeland Security Chair Michael McCaul released what I'm sure he thought was a funny tongue-in-cheek statement concerning last Sunday's massacre.

"The Obama Administration just redacted the ___ out of the Orlando shooter's 911 transcripts... How in the (world) does censoring this (truth) make us (safer)?"

*Funny stuff, I'm sure the victim's families really appreciate it.

Gov. Rick Scott

Florida Gov. Rick Scott went on Fox News and claimed that the redactions were another example of the government...

"not focusing on the evil here... We need a president that's going to say I care about destroying ISIS

Andrew McCarthy

Andrew McCarthy, a one-time national security adviser to Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign, said that the Justice Department’s decision to redact parts of a transcript shows that

the government is becoming Sharia-adherent.

Now understand that the transcripts omitted all explicit references to Islamic terrorism even though authorities already revealed Mateen aligned himself with ISIS.

It's not like it was a great mystery who the shooter pledged allegiance too. It's not like it was a great mystery that ISIS claimed credit for the attack. It's not like it was a great mystery that ISIS and Al Baghdadi would have loved the free publicity.

Despite those reasons after enough pressure from the right wing had been levied on the FBI and the DOJ they released the full unredacted transcripts in which the shooter names ISIS and Al-Bahgdaddi.

Mission accomplished! Fox News and the Republicans claimed victory this morning! The Islamic State couldn't have done a better job spreading their propaganda if they had actually paid someone.

Congratulations to all involved!
