BREAKING NEWS: Bangladesh Police Storm Restaurant In ISIS Hostage Standoff (UPDATES)

It is being reported that Bangladeshi police have stormed the Holey Artisan restaurant in Gulshan, Dhaka to free upwards of 20 hostages, including several foreigners, that were trapped inside after gunmen had launched an attack on the establishment late on Friday night.

Reports say assailants exchanged intense gun fire with police during the raid but no gunshots have been heard from inside the restaurant since.

* UPDATE 11:34 pm: Reports that 5 rescued from Dhaka restaurant, 36 injured being treated. Eyewitnesses to media say 5 gunmen killed, 1 captured, 2 unaccounted for. No reports of gunfire for over 20 minutes.

UPDATE 11:51 pm: Bangladesh media is reporting that Lt Col Tuhin Mohammad Masud has claimed 13 hostages have been rescued. No gunfire for 30 minutes yet an explosion has been reported. Local television reports it was a controlled explosion by Bangladeshi bomb disposal team.

UPDATE 12:45 pm: The Dhaka cafe siege ends, six gunmen killed, says police.

In total 20 hostages and five terrorists died in the attack.
