Duke, who endorsed Donald Trump in February, views Trump as a kindred spirit and believes he can piggyback on the wave of hate that has buoyed the Trump campaign all the way to the senate.
Trump’s anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric mirrors that of Duke's so one could understand where he would get such an idea.
