Head Of Fox News Ailes Reportedly Shit-Canned For Sexual Harassment. Oh The Sweet Irony!

Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, who has been a right wing legend in media and politics for the past half-century, has been relieved of his duties as head of the Fox News cable network amidst a sexual harassment scandal, according to a sources at the company.

Gretchen Carlson has alleged Ailes of sexual harassment

The news comes after former “Fox & Friends” co-host Gretchen Carlson accused Ailes of sexually harassing her and then fired her in retaliation for refusing his unwanted advances. The lawsuit brought to the surface other allegations of harassment including six women from Ailes’ pre-Fox days and even Fox mega-star Megyn Kelly who also alleges sexually harassment.

It is sweet irony as it was Ailes who made his bones running the network that led the charge in trying to take down Bill Clinton for allegations of sexual misconduct will lose his job for exactly that.

Ailes launched "Fox News" or what many refer to as the Republican's communications arm with right wing media mogul Rupert Murdoch in 1996.
