Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg Rips Trump!

In an interview in her chambers on Friday Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke out in a critique blasting presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

She told The New York Times Supreme Court correspondent, Adam Liptak, the following...

I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.

She then recalled something her husband, Martin D. Ginsburg, a prominent tax lawyer who died in 2010, would have said.

Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand

For her trouble Ginsburg caught some major flack for her statement's from Trump acolytes claiming it wasn't a sitting justices place to give opinions about such matters as politics (y'know, like a Scalia) and Trump even called for an apology.

For anyone who thought she would be cowed into backing down from her comments it became abundantly clear that that wouldn't be the case when late Monday Ginsburg doubled down on her earlier criticism of Trump saying…

"He is a faker. He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. ... How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that."

Trump responded Wednesday morning by of course he firing off an angry tweet...
