Ex-NSA Head Michael Hayden Says Trump's "2nd Amendment" Line Would Have Gotten Others Detained And Questioned (VIDEO)

Tonight Michael Hayden, ex-director of the National Security Agency and former head of the CIA, went on CNN and criticized Donald Trump's statement that "Second Amendment people" could stop Hillary from nominating Supreme Court justices.

After being played the clip of Trump making the statement at a rally earlier today Haden went on to say that the comment…

"Suggests either a very bad taste reference to political assassination and an attempt at humor, or an incredible insensitivity. It may be the latter, an incredible insensitivity to the prevalence of political assassination inside of American history, and how that is a topic that we don't ever come close to, even when we think we're trying to be light-hearted."

Haden finished by saying…

If someone else said that outside of the hall, he'd be in the back of a police wagon now, with the Secret Service questioning him."

Watch Trump's statement and Hayden's reply here…

Trump’s campaign has since argued that he was referring to the political power of Second Amendment supporters.

Since Trump uttered the supremely stupid remarks the Secret Service has confirmed that they were aware of the statement, but said it was not planning on issuing a statement.

They even issued a tweet!...

Who knew the Secret Service had a Twitter account?!?!
