Obama Calls Trump 'Unfit To Serve As President" Calls On Republican Leaders To Withdraw Endorsement (VIDEO)

Today at a press conference in Singapore President Obama challenged leading Republicans to withdraw their support for present GOP nominee Donald Trump. Obama's statements come in the wake of Trumps ongoing feud with a fallen Muslim-American soldier's family whose son was killed in the Iraq war in 2004 and who denounced him at the Democratic National Convention for his Muslim ban policy.

The fact that Trump would lash out at the two grieving parents obviously lead the President to believe that Trump is unfit to lead the country…

"Yes, I think the Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president. I said so last week, and he keeps on proving it. The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family that has made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of our country, the fact that he doesn’t appear to have basic knowledge around critical issues in Europe, in the Middle East, in Asia, means that he's woefully unprepared to do this job."

Obama then went on to point out that the Republican's denunciations of Trump's odious statements "ring hollow" as these same GOP leaders continue to support his candidacy notably going after House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Arizona Sen. John McCain…

"And this is not just my opinion I think what has been interesting is the repeated denunciations of his statements by leading Republicans by the speaker of the house and the Senate majority leader and prominent Republicans like John McCain and the question I think they have to ask themselves is, if you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him? What does this say about your party that this is your standard-bearer? This isn't a situation where you have an episodic gaffe. This is daily and weekly, where they are distancing themselves from statements he is making."

After speaking his peace Obama went on to make the point that this type of accusation would not have been one he would have levied at his former presidential rivals...

"I think I was right and Mitt Romney and John McCain were wrong on certain policy issues, but I never thought that they couldn't do the job."

After Obama’s speech Trump responded in an email with a level headed and well thought out response in which he blamed Obama and Clinton for the end of the world and every other crime committed in the last seven and a half years…

"Obama-Clinton have single-handedly destabilized the Middle East, handed Iraq, Libya and Syria to ISIS, and allowed our personnel to be slaughtered at Benghazi. Then they put Iran on the path to nuclear weapons. Then they allowed dozens of veterans to die waiting for medical care that never came."

He then, just for good measure, tweeted...

Yeah, he's stable.
