Donald Trump Says Something Stupid #46: Trump Warns Of World War III If Hillary Clinton Wins Election

It seems as if someone in the Trump campaign got the message to Donald that it is the time in the campaign where we break out the "end times" speak. Last week InfoWars' Alex Jones floated a trial ballon on the subject when he declared that a Hillary Clinton presidency would cause a World War that would wipe out 1/3rd of the world's population as foretold by God.

Lo and behold a mere 4 days after Jones' declaration Trump, while lounging comfortably at his resort in Doral, Florida warned in an interview with Reuters that a Hillary Clinton presidency would lead to World War III.

Trump argued that the Democratic nominee would cause the conflagration by drawing the US into an armed confrontation with Russia, Syria and Iran...

"What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria. You're going to end up in World War III over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton. You're not fighting Syria anymore, you're fighting Syria, Russia and Iran, all right? Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk"

Trump, or "Putin's Puppet" as he is also known, has called for a detente with Russia so that the US and Russia may jointly combat ISIS while arguing that his Democratic rival's more aggressive posture in Syria would of course lead to the end of the world.

Though Trump has not laid out his strategy for combating ISIS or addressed the globally destabilizing conflict in Syria it is also painfully obvious that he has not read or heard Clinton's plan for the region either. If Trump had bothered he would have known that she calls for establishing safe zones on the ground and a no-fly zone over Syria to help end the five-year civil war as she said while on stage with him at the last debate where she said the no-fly zone would...

...Create those safe refuges within Syria, to try to protect people on the ground both from Assad’s forces, who continue to drop barrel bombs, and from ISIS. And of course, it has to be de-conflicted with the Russians, who are also flying in that space. A no-fly zone would prevent the outflow of refugees and give us a chance to have some safe spaces.

In response to Trump's hyperbolic and fear mongering claim Clinton spokesman Jesse Lehrich pointed out that...

"National security experts on both sides of the aisle have denounced Donald Trump as dangerously ill-prepared and temperamentally unfit to serve as commander-in-chief. Once again, he is parroting Putin's talking points and playing to Americans' fears, all while refusing to lay out any plans of his own for defeating ISIS or alleviating humanitarian suffering in Syria"
