BIZARRO WORLD: Sarah Palin Slams Donald Trump’s Carrier Deal... Wait... What?!?!

Alaska's half Governor and Tea Party Queen Sarah Palin, who just days ago was under consideration to join Donald Trump’s cabinet, has just blasted the tax deal the president-elect negotiated with Carrier, condemning it as “crony capitalism.”!!!

Say whaaaa!?!?

As previously reported Trump under the guise of "harsh bargaining" had his Vice President-elect Mike Pence arrange $7 million in Indiana tax breaks for Carrier in exchange for the company’s promise to keep about 800 of 1,400 jobs in the U.S. instead of moving them to Mexico.

This deal with Carrier, and defiantly not the fact she was shot down as secretary of Veterans Affairs, has apparently rubbed caribou Barbie the wrong way!

On Friday Palin wrote in an op-ed the Young Conservatives website. ..

Republicans oppose this, remember?. Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail. A business must have freedom to locate where it wishes. In a free market, if a business makes a mistake (including a marketing mistake that perhaps Carrier executives made), threatening to move elsewhere claiming efficiency’s sake, then the market’s invisible hand punishes. Thankfully, that same hand rewards, based on good business decisions.

She then went on to warn that “picking and choosing” which company darlings receive “corporate welfare” is a “hallmark of corruption” and “socialism.”

Methinks I hear the fury of a "hockey Mom" scorned!

Palin, of course, left wiggle room in the piece for Trump to redeem himself (or if he has any other positions open he thinks she might be good for)...

Gotta have faith that the Trump team knows all of this,”

She then went on to promise to be the first to dismiss concerns if details of the deal prove her wrong once they’re publicly released.

Despite Trump's "very presidential" deal, Carrier is still shifting over a thousand jobs to Mexico and cutting at least 600 Carrier positions. In addition their parent company, United Technologies, will also move ahead with closing a separate Indiana plant laying off an additional 700 workers.

Making the deal even more unbecoming was the fact that, according to the president of the local chapter of the United Steelworkers union that represents the plant, the union at the Carrier factory was cut out of negotiations to save their jobs just for good measure.

Trump: The only man who can take an awful situation and make it worse and still have his followers slobber all over him.... Accept for Palin that is... Unless he's got something lined up for her... Anything really... You still have her number right?... Anything would be appreciated... As long as she can quit half way through.
