Kellyanne Conway Literally Invents A Terrorist Attack To Justify Trump’s Muslim Ban (VIDEO)

Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway cited a nonexistent massacre to justify his Muslim ban while speaking to Chris Matthews last night on his show Hardball.

Conway said...

I bet there was very little coverage, I bet it’s brand-new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.

Here is the video...

Perhaps the reason for the lacking coverage of the “Bowling Green Massacre” was due to the fact that it never happened.

Conway, who last month infamously described the Trump administration’s lies as “alternative facts” appeared to be referring to an incident in 2011 when two Iraqi refugees were arrested in Bowling Green, Kentucky who were believed to be sending money and weapons to al Qaeda in Iraq.  They were caught in an FBI sting operation and convicted in 2013 and are currently imprisoned.

There was alas no massacre nor were they accused of planning or attempting one.

Amazingly Conway even managed to sneak in a second "alternative fact" into that sentence as there was also no “ban” on the refugee program under President Obama only a delay in processing refugees as it expanded screening measures as Iraqi refugees continued to enter the country, albeit at a slower pace.

Today Ms. Conway admitted she had put out wrong information (lied) referring to her alternative massacre as an “honest mistake.
