Hayden explained to the kids at “Fox and Friends” that while he personally did not believe that President Obama had ordered that Trump be wiretapped all Donald would have to do to find out if he actually did was ask...
“It looks as if the President just for a moment forgot that he was President. Why didn’t he simply use the powers of the presidency to ask the acting director of national intelligence, the head of the FBI, to confirm or deny the story he apparently read from Breitbart the evening before? President Trump, in order to clear this up, could he demand to see this? Again, it would be unprecedented, but we’re in unprecedented circumstances,"

To top it off even the House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Jason Chaffetz and others have noted that a paper trail would reveal whether or not a court had granted a warrant to tap Trump’s phones and all Trump would have to do is demand that paper trail.

Despite the ease with which Trump could clear this matter up he has insisted that Congress investigate his lie.. um, err.. claim.
I am going out on a limb here and guess that, much like the V.P. Pence led investigation into the five million illegal voters who swung the popular vote for Hillary Clinton, we won't be seeing this investigation either.
