a Gallup Daily Poll Donald Trump's approval rating fell to 37 percent over the weekend.
That is an 11 point drop from the previous weekend.
This number marks the lowest for Trump since he took the oath of office 60 days ago according to the tracking poll. It also marks the lowest approval rating ever for any commander-in-chief at this point in his first term since Gallup started tracking the issue in 1945, the year Harry Truman took office.
Trump's disapproval rating shot up correspondingly, hitting a whopping 58 percent.
Here is Gallup's chart...
Trump still has a way to go if he's going to achieve the lowest job approval rating ever recorded by Gallup which was 22 percent and belonged to Harry Truman in February of 1952 - 7 years into his presidency.
I'm guessing he can hit that by mid July.
For comparison at this point in his first term, President Obama's approval rating was hovering in the mid 60s. According to Gallup Obama's approval rating and never sank below 40 percent in his entire eight years in office.
