North Korea Threatens Pre-Emptive Nuclear War... Trump Goes To Mar-A-Lago For Long Weekend (TWEETS & PICS)

It is in dangerous times that heroes step up and make their presence known.

Then there are those that take a long weekend in their palatial estates in Palm Beach, Florida.

As Donald Trump relaxes at his Mar-A Lago resort North Korea says it is “on the brink of war” with the U.S..

One of the nation’s senior officials, Ben Tracy, has accused the Trump administration of wanting to “annihilate” his country and blamed the escalating tension on the Korean Peninsula squarely on the U.S. and South Korea.

North Korea’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Han Song Ryol went on the record saying that the situation between the U.S. and North Korea is the worst it has ever been, and if provoked, his country is ready and willing to fight a war...

If the U.S. comes up with a dangerous military option, then the first card is in our hands. We’ll deal with it with our pre-emptive strike. This means war,

Making the situation even more intractable is the fact that North Korea is on the brink of launching it's sixth nuclear test, which experts say could come at any time, as part of the Kim regime’s quest to build a nuclear-tipped missile capable of reaching the U.S. mainland.

The reason the experts believe the test is imminent is that Saturday is the birthday of the nation's founder, Kim Il-sung, which according to experts might very well prompt the nuclear test.

Analysts have also predicted a launch based on satellite images of one of North Korea's nuclear test sites as well.

For it's part the U.S. military has signaled that it is prepared to launch a strike of it's own against North Korea if there are signs of the country testing a nuclear weapon.

Sources within the Pentagon have claimed the U.S. has deployed two Tomahawk-equipped destroyers, heavy bombers, and an aircraft carrier to the region in a potential mission which could include air and land attacks.

Then there is Donald Trump who arrived for his seventh weekend out of thirteen at his languid Florida resort on Thursday

FACT CHECK: This will be Trump's second four-day weekend in a row.

As a matter of fact Donald was in such a hurry he went without his senior advisers or his chief of staff.

But do not worry as administration officials maintain that Trump will be kept well informed of activity in North Korea by his team, should the need arise, and will continue to be updated through the weekend

And in case you didn't think Trump was on top of it well... YOU'RE WRONG!

Proving his head is in the game Trump tweeted at 5:03am on thursday...

U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

According to a White House official the staffing "footprint" at Mar-a-Lago should be "very light" as it is a holiday weekend and Easter would be a chance for Trump to spend time with his wife and children and so that top staffers could spend time with their own families.

That's sweet.

Oh, look, here is a picture of him spending time with his golf clubs captured by photographer Jay McMichael yesterday...

Trump, rested and battle ready!

To date Trump's visits down to Mar-A -Lago have cost taxpayers somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 to $30 million dollars.
