DON'T BE FOOLED! Trump "Bloody Facelift" Tweet Is A Distraction From New Russian Collusion Story!

Donald Trump is a repulsive, ignorant, misogynistic vulgar clown.

That being said... DON'T BE FOOLED!

Trump "Bloody Facelift" tweets, while grotesque, are nothing but a distraction from what is really scaring him.

What he did yesterday by attacking Mika B and Joe S was only about obfuscating and distracting from the really damaging news that he knew was going to be unveiled later in the day.

This came in the form of a Wall Street Journal report that released a report at 5:14 p.m last night detailing alleged collusion between his campaign and Russia.

The WSJ detailed actions of a long time GOP operative named Peter W. Smith who had apparently been in contact with Russian hackers to see it he could obtain the 33,000 emails that Hillary Clinton supposedly deleted from her private email server due to their personal nature.

Smith told the Journal that he had gotten the idea after hearing Donald Trump, while on the campaign trail, urging Russia to find and release Hillary Clinton's "deleted emails" during a July 2016 campaign rally.

The story reports that Smith reached out to several computer security experts, many of them Russian, in the hopes of gaining access to the email trove.

The report uncovered that Smith also implied in conversations with his associates that he was working with Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, Donald Trump's former National Security Adviser, who was fired after failing to disclose that he had contact with Russia’s ambassador during the Trump campaign.

The Journal reports that Smith believed Flynn and Flynn’s company, Flynn Intel Group, were “allies” in the search for emails. Smith and one of his associates also claimed they had a line of communication with Mr. Flynn and his consulting company.

In one Smith email reviewed by the Journal, he intended to entice outside experts to join his work by offering to make introductions to Mr. Flynn’s son, Michael G. Flynn, who worked as chief of staff in his father’s company.

It was revealed that hackers were recorded saying that if they did recover any of Clinton's deleted emails that they would get them to Peter Smith using Gen. Flynn as an intermediary.

According to one of the hackers phone conversation, Mr. Smith told the computer expert that he was in direct contact with Mr. Flynn and his son. The expert said that based on his conversations with Peter Smith, he understood Lt. Gen. Flynn to be coordinating with Smith’s group in his capacity as a Trump campaign adviser.

If true this would be the most specific potential evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Smith ultimately did receive some emails from hacker groups prior to the election, he told the Journal, but after vetting said he couldn’t be sure enough of their authenticity. Smith told the hackers to leak them through WikiLeaks so he would not have to personally vouch for them.

Those emails have never surfaced, according to the report.

Smith, a Chicago investment banker, has had political run ins with the Clintons before. During the 1990s, he helped subsidize a large-scale effort led by conservative donors to procure and publish damaging information about then-President Bill Clinton in which he spent “$80,000 on private detectives in a hunt for the black baby that Clinton was rumored to have sired.

Smith died at the age of 81 just 10 days after the Journal interviewed him.

*Conspiracy theorists jump in here!

Neither Flynn nor the White House has responded to the Journal’s request for comment.

PS - The fact that the WSJ called the White House for comment is the give-a-way as to how Trump knew the story was coming!

Trump Hurls Crude “Crazy” “Low IQ” “Bleeding” Insults At Cable News Host Mika Brzezinski In Morning Tweetstorm

This morning the embarrassment that now unfortunately runs this country indulged himself in a childlike outburst against the female host of MSNBC's Morning Joe.

Trump began his day hurling a series of ugly, embarrassing, sexist and low-class insults at female host Mika Brzezinsk in which he remarked on both her intellect and physical appearance.

Here are the two bizarre tweets Trump fired off at 5:52am

* It is at this point where I like to play my favorite game: "What Would Happen If Presedent Obama Did This?"

While in the tweets Trump claimed not to watch their show, it was obvious that he was responding to criticism from the hosts about him.

Apparently what set Trump off was that Morning Joe host, Joe Scarborough, criticized the White House over a Politico report detailing the way Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was treated by Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner. It was reported that after Tillerson yelled at top Trump aides for undermining him and holding up State Department appointees Kushner reportedly told the Secretary of State that the incident was “unprofessional.”

But what really set the man baby off was when Brzezinski said the president's Twitter habits were "not normal behavior."

I guess he decided it was time to set her straight by proving her 100 percent correct.

After Trump’s tweets MSNBC released a statement declaring…

It's a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job."

As we all remember Trump has a long, storied history of body-shaming and publicly humiliating women...

• As the owner of the Miss Universe pageant in 1996, he insulted Venezuelan contestant Alicia Machado when he mocked her weight gain by calling her “Miss Piggy” and demeaned her heritage naming her “Miss Housekeeping.

• In 2013, in an interview with Headline News, Trump body shamed Kim Kardashian and stated that she shouldn’t dress like she weighed 120 pounds.

• Trump has called comedian Rosie O’Donnell “fat” and a “slob,

• Trump insulted fellow presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s appearance. “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?” he told Rolling Stone in an interview.

• Trump also insulted Senator Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, when he reposting an image on his Twitter account insulting her appearance after threatening to "spill the beans" on her."

• During his primary campaign, when Megyn Kelly, then at Fox News, asked then candidate Trump about his treatment of women. When Trump deemed that line of questioning was out of bounds he said of Kelly: "She starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions, and you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.".

And lest we forget that during the 2016 campaign Trump was forced to apologize after The Washington Post published a 2005 tape in which he openly bragged about being able to grab women “by the pussy” because he was a celebrity.

For their part the White House stood by and defended Trump’s heinous tweets by sending the female deputy press secretary to take the flak for him. Sanders, when asked about the attack on Bryzinski, played Trump as the victim saying he had been attacked more than any other president in history and that...

When he gets attacked he'll attack back

At this point one must wonder what Trump’s wife Melania, who had pledged to take on cyberbullying as first lady is doing… Here’s what's she's doing… She sent out her female communications director Stephanie Grisham to release a statement to take the flak...

"As the First Lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder,"

It was less than two months ago that Trump offered to officiate their wedding when Scarborough and Brzezinski announced their engagement.

FAKE NEWS: Trump's Phony Time Magazine Cover

Donald Trump is a fraud.

We know it, you know it and apparently even he knows it.

He is not a self made man, he is not a billionaire and has suffered 6 bankruptcies, gone bust owning casinos, peddling fake universities, airlines, football teams, vodka, steaks, and even WATER!

Trump has however been overwhelmingly successful in contracting a serious case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

This creates quite a quandary if you insist on bragging about things you haven't accomplished.

That's what makes the discovery of Trump's latest lie kind of sad.... It's just so petty and amateurish.

Kinda' like him.

As it turns out Trump has Time magazine covers bearing his image on the front cover framed and hanging in no less than five of his golf courses.

The thing is... They're all fake.

It's not like he hadn't been on the cover of Time before. But I guess those weren't up to his standards and he needed to control exactly how he wanted to be protrayed?

In any event The Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold, who reported about the fake cover, says the courses have the fake Time cover of Trump, which is dated March 1, 2009, framed and displayed prominently on their walls.

It features a photo of Trump along with the caption...

Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash.

Above the magazine’s name, In all caps of course, is another caption that reads...

Here is the cover...

The forgery was discovered due to small inaccuracies such a red border that is skinnier than that of a genuine Time cover and secondary headlines that are are stacked on the right side. The one telling give-a-way though was that on March 1, 2009.... TIME DIDN'T PUBLISH AN ISSUE!

Is this the worst offense Trump has ever committed? Not even close. But it is a peek into his petty and small-minded need for control and admiration at all times. It is a view into Trump as an embarrassing and ridiculous figure that is now being transferred onto the country causing America to be viewed as embarrassing and ridiculous on the world stage.

To date Trump has been on Time’s cover 14 times, President Obama has 22 covers and the all time record holder is none other than President Richard Nixon at 55 times!

Since the discovery TIME magazine has asked Trump to remove the phony magazine covers from his establishments walls.

Jared Lawyers Up!

Feeling the heat from the growing FBI probe looking into possible collusion between Russia and the Donald Trump campaign, son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner has lawyered up.

Kushner has reportedly retained the services of famed criminal trial lawyer Abbe Lowell.

Lowell has become famous for representing high profile figures like former vice-president nominee John Edwards, and GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Kushner is going to need all the help he can get after his meetings with the Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and a Russian "banker" Sergey Gorkov.

It is apparent that Kushner hired Lowell due to his courtroom skills as opposed to his political leanings as he is no supporter of Kushner’s father-in-law.

In fact, Lowell donated and campaigned to get Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton, elected.

Last year, Lowell donated $2000 to the “Hillary Clinton for American” presidential campaign, $700 to Hillary Clinton Victory fund, and $1,000 to her 2008 presidential bid.

How close is Lowell to the Clintons?

Lowell even served as Chief Minority Counsel to Democrats in the House of Representatives during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial.

In addition to Clinton, Federal Election Commission records indicate that Lowell has given money to Joe Lieberman, President Barack Obama, John Edwards, and Tom Daschle.

In any event Lowell should feel right at home as Jamie Gorelick, Kushner’s other attorney, who has also donated to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Lowell is currently a partner at Chadbourne & Park and is currently representing the Democratic Senator of New Jersey Bob Menendez in his corruption case.

Senate Republicans Forced To Delay Trumpcare Vote Due To Lack Of Support. Trump Has A Hissy!

They look happy

Yesterday, after the Congressional Budget Office released their report which showed that under Trumpcare 22 million Americans would lose their insurance coverage, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell canceled the vote on the bill he previously insisted would occur this week.

McConnell, in the face of a revolt from both moderate and conservative factions of his party, told senators that the vote would be delayed until after the July Fourth recess.

McConnell told reporters, referring to the number of votes needed for the bill to proceed....

We will not be on the bill this week. But we’re still working toward getting at least 50 people in a comfortable place,”

It was apparent the bill was in peril when at least five GOP senators said they would not vote for the bill as they the bill could afford to lose no more than two. This despite the fact that the GOP control the Senate 52 to 48 and only needed 50 to pass their bill.

The bill seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place as the GOP opposition was made up of either moderate Republicans who were concerned about the implications the legislation would have on their constituents and the more conservative wing of the party who claimed the bill didn't go far enough in repealing Obamacare's coverage entirely.

After the bills delay Donald Trump summoned the entire Republican caucus to the White House where they engaged in what was referred to as an uneasy meeting. According to one of the senators, who was for the bill, Trump seemed to not fully understand some of the basic elements of the Senate plan leaving the group uneasy about just how knowledgeable he was about the entire subject.

After the closed door session Trump invited the press in where he gave them his catchphrase that Obamacare is a "complete disaster" and that...

"This will be great if we get it done. And if we don't get it done, it's just going to be something that we're not going to like and that's okay, and I understand that very well."

For the entire day the media tried and tried to figure out what Trump meant by that and still no one has a clue.

After it was announced that Trumpcare would not be coming to a vote Senate Democrats said they would be willing to assist with the bill but only if the Republicans abandon it’s most extreme provisions.

The CBO Scores TrumpCare: 22 Million Americans Will Lose Their Insurance Coverage (FULL CBO REPORT)

In a report issued Monday afternoon, the Congressional Budget Office released their report on the Senate Republicans’ Obamacare replacement bill. The CBO's analysis of the bill, also known as Trumpcare, shows it will result in 22 million Americans losing their insurance coverage.

The CBO estimated that the staggering number of uninsured Americansis due to the bill's removal of the Obamacare tax penalty on people who don’t purchase insurance.

Most of the uninsured would be people with incomes under 200 percent of the federal poverty level but longer term the number of uninsured will rise due to evisceration of Medicaid spending and lack of eligibility to the program.

According the CBO’s scoring around 15 million people would lose their insurance coverage by 2018 as massive Medicaid cuts (to the tune of $772 billion dollars) and substantially smaller average subsidies for coverage in the non group market would cause the number of the uninsured to grow.

In addition the Senate bill would greatly increase the cost of health care for older people. According to CBO, individuals over age 64 making $56,800 a year could see their premiums for a silver plan triple from $6,800 to $20,500.

The proposed bill would reportedly reduce the federal deficit by $321 billion over the next decade mostly from the gutting of Medicaid and the elimination of the Obamacare taxes on the wealthiest one percent of Americans.

A Demented Trump Implies President Obama Colluded With Russia To Get Trump To Win The Election... And Now Is Owed An Apology!

Umm, okay... Where to start?

Last Friday The Washington Post reported that the interference of the 2016 US elections could be directly linked to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The report also showed that though President Obama may have known this he chose to hold his hand close to the vest and not reveal the Russian hacking so as not to be perceived as trying to influence the election.

Over the weekend Donald pre-recorded several interviews with Fox News which aired on Sunday. In  those interviews Trump decided to try a completely new talking point I doubt he truly worked it through in his mind.

Now remember that when it came to the Russian intervention into our elections Trump went through a plethora of excuses never admitting that it ever happened.

Here are just a few of his excuses...
(active links)
• Witch Hunt!
• A lame excuse for why the Dems lost the election
• Fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election
• Taxpayer funded charade
• A total hoax
• An excuse used by the Democrats as justification for losing the election
• A total scam!
• Phony
• Fake
• A hoax

Trump, who had completely written off the Russian interference into the elections, has now suddenly alluded to the Washington Post report claiming that then-President Obama knew about Russia's attempts to meddle in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and "did nothing about it"...

"Well I just heard today for the first time that Obama knew about Russia a long time before the election, and he did nothing about it. But nobody wants to talk about that. The CIA gave him information on Russia a long time before they even -- before the election. And I hardly see it. It's an amazing thing. To me -- in other words, the question is, if he had the information, why didn't he do something about it? He should have done something about it. But you don't read that. It's quite sad."

*FACT CHECK: President Obama did in fact take actions against Russia including, kicking 35 Russian diplomats out of the country, closing two Russian compounds and sanctioning nine Russian entities and individuals, planting "cyberbombs" in Russia’s technological infrastructure and warning Vladimir Putin to his face!

Trump however wasn't done with his new imbecilic talking point. This morning he continued his idiocy on the twitter...

So let's try to unpack this... In the simplest terms Trump is saying that President Obama knew about the Russia's "meddling" because he was "colluding or obstructing" with them so that Trump would win the election and now he owes Trump an apology because there was "no collision or obstruction" by "T people".

I don't know which is scarier... What Trump implied in his tweets or the claim that he just found out about the Russian "meddling" and believes that no one is talking about it.

Trump Goes On Fox & Friends And Offers An Embarrassingly Incoherent Explanation For His "Comey Tape" Tweets (VIDEO)

After Donald Trump admitted this week that he lied about taping his conversations with former FBI Director James Comey despite his earlier tweets suggesting he had the press and the public heaped scorn and ridicule upon him for the stunt.

These are the tweets...

So inane were Trump's tweets the House Intelligence Committee even suggested they thought his explanation via tweet was such a load of garbage they might still issue him a subpoena.

After receiving the backlash and condemnation for his actions concerning the fake tweet stunt Trump felt it was obviously time to do a victory lap on Fox News!

So the Donald stopped by his favorite safe space, Fox & Friends, and engaged in what passes for an interview on that show.

With Melania by his side Fox & Friend co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked Trump why he had sent out the fatuous tweets.

That is when Trump launched into a spasm of verbal diarrhea so incoherent that it broke my brain...

"Well, I didn’t tape him, you never know what’s happening when you see that the Obama administration and perhaps longer than that, was doing all this unmasking and surveillance and you read all about it and I’ve been reading about it for the last couple of months about the seriousness of the, and horrible situation with surveillance all over the place, and you’ve been hearing the word “unmasking,” a word you probably never heard before. So you never know what’s out there, but I didn’t tape and I don’t have any tape and I didn’t tape, but when he found out that I, that there may be tapes out there, whether it’s governmental tapes or anything else and who knows, I think his story may have changed I mean you'll have to look at that because then he has to tell what happened at the events. And my story didn’t change, my story was always a straight story, my story was always the truth. But you'll have to determine for yourself whether his story changed but I did not tape (...)"

So enamored was Earhardt with Donald's indecipherable response she lavished him with praise for the yuge smartness...

So it was a smart way to make sure [Comey] stayed honest in those hearings,

After receiving the verbal tongue bath from Earhardt an obviously flustered and aroused Trump replied...

Well... Ah... Well it... It wasn’t very stupid, I can tell you that.

You can watch the interview here...

Trump Says "Comey Tapes" May Exist But He "Did Not Make" Them. House Committee Not Buying It And Threatens Trump With Subpoena

In case you missed it amid all the hoopla of the Senate Health Care bill yesterday Donald Trump fired off a moronic tweet about about the existence of the “Comey tapes” that may have landed him in even hotter water.

As we all know on May 12, three days after Trump fired his FBI Director James Comey he sent out a the now infamous tweet that implied the existence of tapes of him and Comey ...

Based on that tweet the House Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Trump's suspected collusion with Russia, demanded that Trump turn over any such tapes and set this Friday as a deadline.

Then after 41 days of pointless speculation Trump, knowing full well he had made up the entire scenario and possessed no such tapes, tweeted this on Thursday afternoon....

So to explain that in the Trumpaneese that only his base hears Donald is essentially saying that Obama is probably wire tapping me so there may be tapes of me and Comey it's his fault and I didn't do it.

After his moronic afternoon tweetfest cowardly Trump sent out his deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders to take the hit. When she was asked about why Trump had sent the original "Comey tape" tweet Sanders said...

I think it was more about raising the question of doubt in general

Whatever the hell that means.

Either way the House Intelligence Committee's ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. was pissed saying Trump's attempts at being too cute by half was insufficient...

"If the president didn’t make tapes or isn’t aware of tapes, then why did he hang the idea of tapes over James Comey’s head? Did he try to intimidate him, was he trying to discourage others from coming forward? There’s a lot that still remains to be answered here,"

Schiff then went on to say the White House must officially respond to the committee by tomorrow’s deadline regarding whether they know of any recordings and if they do not respond, the next action taken will be to subpoena the White House.

Ruh Roh!

The Senate Finally Reveals It's Health Care Bill To Scathing Reviews ... “It Will Kill People"

To start things off let's take a look at what Donald Trump said of his plan to "repeal and replace Obamacare" while on the campaign trail trying to con people out of their votes.

Trump claimed: No one would lose coverage, there will be insurance for everybody, it will be a lot less expensive for everyone and there would definitely be no cuts to Medicaid.

Yeah, about that...

Today we all finally got a peek at what is in the health care bill that 13 white male Republican senators were crafting behind closed doors... and now we know why they were hiding it.

Trumpcare or the "Better Care Reconciliation Act" (BCRA?) will cut billions out from the Affordable Care Act's programs that help those American's most in need and in turn give those billions of dollars in tax cuts to corporations and the super wealthy (Trump's friends and family).

The 142-page bill would result in millions of people losing their health benefits and would shrink the safety net of those left.

Meanwhile wealthy people and health-care companies would see their taxes go down... A lot!

The BCRA would also offer states the ability to drop many of the benefits required by the Affordable Care Act, like maternity care, emergency services and mental health treatment. You know, the unnecessary stuff.

And while some consumers might pay less for their insurance, an untold number of people wouldn’t have access to the coverage and medical services they have under the existing law.

The bill would also eradicate the central components of the Affordable Care Act, such as its expansion to Medicaid to cover more poor, working-age adults. The bill calls for cutting $834 billion from Medicaid over 10 years which would result in fundamentally changing the program by ending the federal government’s open-ended commitment to funding the program at whatever levels it takes to cover everybody who becomes eligible.

Instead, states would now receive a lump sum per year or a lump sum per enrollee.

This means that the federal government would spend far less on Medicaid which would force states to make deep cuts to the program by taking actions like eliminating coverage and benefits and reducing already-low fees to doctors and other medical providers.

The Senate bill would also retool the ACA’s reforms of the private insurance market for people who buy coverage on their own.

While people would still be eligible for financial assistance fewer middle-income people would get it and its rule that large employers must offer health benefits to workers would be eliminated.

Plus the assistance that people get would be smaller, meaning people would have to pay more to get the same kind of coverage they have now or put up with policies that leave them exposed to higher out-of-pocket costs.

This is because the Senate bill redefines the “benchmark” plan that the federal government would use as its basis for calculating financial assistance. This would result in an across-the-board reduction in subsidies for people buying coverage on their own.

Certain changes in the Senate bill would result in younger people paying less for their coverage but the price to pay for that would mean older consumers would have to pay more.

In addition, low-income consumers would also face substantially higher copayments and deductibles, because the bill would eliminate special subsidies that presently reduce out-of-pocket costs for people with incomes below 250 percent of the poverty line, or about $30,000 per year for an individual

Health insurance companies would be permitted to sell skimpier policies that cover a smaller share of patients’ medical bills, which likely would mean even higher deductibles and other costs than the plans available under the Affordable Care Act.

The companies would also have more leeway to vary premiums by age. Under current law, insurers can only charge older consumers three times as much. This guideline would be effectively removed.

The bill would also eliminate the individual mandate, which requires that most people obtain health coverage while states would have the ability to waive some regulations on insurance, including requirements that all plans cover an “essential” set of benefits.

While the bill retains the Affordable Care Act’s rule that insurers can’t reject applicants because of pre-existing conditions or charge them more than healthier people that promise could prove empty as states could revoke the current set of guaranteed benefits. This would includes benefits like hospitalizations, prescription drugs and maternity care as insurers would be able to design policies that would leave out these important treatments.

For example, insurers couldn’t refuse to cover a patient with HIV/AIDS, diabetes or a history of cancer, but they could offer plans that don’t cover the treatments for those things.

And while the Senate bill might do away with some of the "meaner" aspects of the House measure, such as letting states entirely cast aside the guarantee of coverage for people with pre-existing conditions by offering tax credits for private insurance, compared is to what currently exists in Obamacare it's peanuts.

This all sounds terrible but fear not... Here's the good stuff you've been waiting for!

The Senate bill would eventually eliminate most of the Affordable Care Act’s taxes on health care companies including health insurers, pharmaceutical companies and medical device makers and best of all ultra-wealthy individuals.

Plus there's a gift to the religious right tucked away in the bill as well.

In addition to the draconian cuts to medicaid, the tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy and the essential destruction of the ACA the Senate bill would also block Medicaid patients from accessing family planning and preventative health care at Planned Parenthood clinics for one year.

That means 60 percent of Planned Parenthood’s 2.5 million patients will no longer be able to go there for affordable birth control, pap smears, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, or breast exams.

This means that the family planning provider would lose nearly a half-billion dollars in federal reimbursements inducing a financial hit that would ultimately force most of its clinics to close.

So to break it down: Unless your a corporation, a health insurance company, in the top 1 percent or an anti-choice anti-Planned Parenthood wingnut... Under this bill you lose.

Now we wait to see what score the Congressional Budget Office gives this piece of garbage.

TRUMP RALLY: The Iowa Strokefest Turns Into A Parade Of Stupid! "New" Immigration Laws That Already Exists, "Solar Walls", Hiring Rich People And His New 2020 Campaign Slogan!!!!

It had been a couple o' bad weeks for Donald Trump and he hadn't received the adulation and adoration he deserved and required for many many days. So he did what needed to be done.

He held a strokefest rally!!! YAY!!!

Lil' Donnie went all the way down to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to get some much needed love.

But while he was down there basking in the applause like a pig in shit he also decided to float some of the dumbest ideas you have ever heard.

One of the things Trump suggested was that he wanted to enact a law prohibiting immigrants from receiving welfare benefits for at least five years after they enter the country.

Trump detailed his proposal telling the crowd that his administration would get to work on the bill "very shortly."...

"I believe the time has come for new immigration rules which say those seeking admission into our country must be able to support themselves financially and should not use welfare for a period of at least five years,"

There's only one problem with his plan... It already exists and has for over 20 years.

The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act already makes it illegal for immigrants to have access to welfare benefits during their first five years in the United States and was passed in 1996 under President Bill Clinton's administration.

Another dandy idea Don trotted out for his people was a new plan for his big beautiful wall along the US/Mexico border.

Mr. Trump told his supporters that he would give the "an idea that nobody has heard about yet"...

"We're thinking of something that's unique, we're talking about the southern border, lots of sun, lots of heat. We're thinking about building the wall as a solar wall, so it creates energy and pays for itself. And this way, Mexico will have to pay much less money, and that's good, right? Solar wall, panels, beautiful. I mean actually think of it, the higher it goes the more valuable it is. Pretty good imagination right? Good? My idea."

I'm sure the coal miners will appreciate his ingenuity and the fact that their (and all of our) tax dollars will be going to pay the solar panes to adorn his wall that already has a projected $70 billion dollar price tag. Plus there's the fact that his party and base loathe green energy.

Then it was time to insult the crowd. One assumes that not many billionaires attended last night's rally and if they did they came on the same plane as Trump. That's what made Trump's statement about only hiring rich people so bizarre.

He began by telling the audience that he couldn't believe "some people" were giving him a hard time about only having multi-millionaires and billionaires in his cabinet.

Trump went on to explain that billionaires like his commerce secretary Wilbur Ross and his economic adviser Gary Cohn “had to give up a lot to take these jobs” going from massive pay days to  working for "peanuts”.

Trump added...

And I love all people, rich or poor, but in those particular positions I just don’t want a poor person.

The crowd applauded.

To finish off the night of yuge ideas Trump actually had the balls to reveal what his 2020 re-election campaign slogan would be...

"Keep America Great!"

Trump said he loved it so much that he told his lawyer to trademark and register it...

"If you like it —I think I like it, right? Do this: 'Keep America Great,' with an exclamation point. 'Keep America Great,'"

The only problem is that the phrase was already trademarked for the 2016 dystopian horror film "The Purge: Election Year" who's plot is that every year there is a 12-hour period during which all crime, including murder, is legal.

One would assume colluding with Russia to fix an American election would be covered during that 12-hour time period as well.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Lawyers Up!

Today Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, the nation's chief law enforcement officer and top prosecutor, has himself hired a private lawyer.

Sessions spokeswoman, Sarah Isgur Flores, announced that the AG has retained the services of attorney Charles "Chuck" Cooper, a longtime friend who had been on the short list to be Solicitor General, but withdrew his name.

"Chuck" Cooper has garnered criticism in the past for his support for incendiary causes such as Bob Jones’ University’s ban on interracial dating, job discrimination against those with HIV/AIDS and pushing legal discrimination against the LGBTQ community during the legal battles over Proposition 8 and marriage equality.

He seems like he'd get along great with Jefferson.

When asked about his being retained by Sessions Cooper confirmed that he is representing the attorney general but declined further comment.

Many believe Sessions hired Cooper as a counter measure to the fact that he had reportedly helped counsel Sessions ahead of his testimony last week before the Senate Intelligence Committee. With Cooper now in Sessions employ he would be prevented from testifying against him as there would now be an attorney client privilege attached.

You'll remember that in the hearing Sessions said he had no contacts with Russian officials during the campaign, only to amend his testimony following disclosures that he had met with the ambassador in July at the RNC and in September in his Washington office. In addition Sessions testified that any suggestion he colluded with Russian officials while he was advising the Trump campaign is "an appalling and detestable lie."

With shoddy testimony like that who knows what intel one of the many investigatory bodies who are looking into Trump and his campaigns ties to Russia might have been able to wrangle out of Cooper while under oath.

Sessions, who's failure to disclose the two encounters led to his recusal in March from any involvement in the FBI’s inquiry into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election though many believe he is still influencing the investigation from behind the scenes.

DEMOCRATS LOSE AGAIN: Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff Fails In Bid For U.S. House Seat. Dems Lose 4 Out Of 4, Trump Taunt-Brags On Twitter

When Donald Trump was inaugurated, in order to fill out his cabinet, he recruited several members from the government including 4 members of congress to serve in his cabinet.

This meant that congressperson's seat was left open and needed to be filled by way of a "special election". That meant a Republican would have to face off against a Democrat to fill that seat.

So far these elections have occurred in Kansan, Montana and tonight in South Carolina and Georgia.

If you though the outcome of these races might be effected by Donald Trump's performance in representing these United States thus becoming a referendum on his tenure in office... You would be sadly mistaken.

Republican have won each and every one going 4 for 4.

What make this achievement all the more galling to Democrats is that after the appalling job Trump has done since taking office you'd truly think there would have been some sort of backlash. With Trump's approval numbers sitting at a horrendous 36 approval to 60 percent disapproval it would not be out of bounds to think their might be some kind of political price to pay.

But there is not.

Not even in the Montana race, in which the Republican nominee literally body slammed a reporter to the ground for asking him too many questions about the GOP health care bill (leading him to be arrested) could stop him from being elected!

What it comes down to is that in these Republican leaning red states their love of Trump and hate of anything liberal is still too strong.

And tonight that was once again the case.

In yet another win for Trump, and Trump the brand of politics, Republican Karen Handel, a 55-year-old former secretary, defeated Jon Ossoff, 30-year-old former congressional aide, in the special election for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.

Even though polling had suggested Ossoff could be in play this time around in what is considered a traditional GOP stronghold it was not to be.

Even $25 million dollars of outsider money that the Democrats poured into this race, making it the most expensive house race in history, still couldn't even help.

When Republican voters got wind that an Ossoff win would reflect poorly on Donald Trump they rallied and defeated the Democrat by four more points that the polling had suggested just a few days earlier. The $25 million dollars was more of a challenge to the Republicans that an enticement for the Democrats.

Remember if a loss for Handel is a loss for Trump then it's a loss for Trump voters and they'll never let that happen. Dear leader must never be defeated lest it reflect poorly on all his subjects.

To add insult to injury Ralph Norman, a Republican, defeated Archie Parnell, a Democrat, in a South Carolina special election U.S. House race tonight as well.

It appears that no matter what Trump does or where his poll numbers stand or how badly his policies hurt those who voted for him his loyal minions will turn out and vote for him again and again and apparently anyone with an (R) in front of their names too.

If they didn't they just might have to admit they made mistake back in November.

And of course Trump couldn't help but taunt the Democrats because if he's anything he is a gracious winner...

I am assuming he is including himself (of course he is) since there have only been four special elections so far.

Here is what those races looked like...

MORE TERROR IN LONDON: Attacker Plows Van Into Victims As They Exit Local Mosques After Evening Prayers

Authorities say one person is dead in north London and at least 10 are injured after a man drove a vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians near a local mosque as evening prayers let out.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Monday and is being investigated as a potential terrorist attack.

London’s Metropolitan Police say a 48-year-old man, who was detained by members of the public at the scene, has been arrested.

Numerous media outlets reported that the man, who drove a large van into a group of innocent bystanders, yelled...

Kill me, kill me, I want to kill all Muslims." and "You deserve this, You guys deserve this

Bystanders have reported that the man took repeated runs at the victims as they lay helpless on the street.

Of the ten people were reported to have been injured in the attack, eight of whom were taken to the hospital, and two people had been treated at the scene.

The U.K.’s Muslim Council says the attack occurred near the Muslim Welfare House, a community center down the road from several local mosques.

The attacker may have chosen these mosques as they have been holding evening prayers for the holy month of Ramadan and have hosted hundreds of worshippers over the past week.

The deadly tragedy in London comes the same day as authorities arrested a man in Virginia in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old girl leaving a local mosque.

Reports Say Russia Probe Is Effecting Trump's Mental Health, Screams At TVs And Blurts Out "I'm Not Under Investigation" For No Reason!

Donald Trump has been described by advisers and confidents as a frustrated and increasingly angry man over the probe into his possible ties between his campaign and Russia.

Some reports say he has been yelling at television sets at the White House when he views coverage of the many investigations that are presently taking place.

It is said that he watches hours and hours of TV coverage every day sometimes even recording the morning news shows on his TiVo to watch later. He then complains nonstop.

Aides claim he views the coverage as a conspiracy to discredit and potentially end his presidency.

Stories have emerged that sometimes during a conversation with an associates or an allies will, without provocation, exclaim...

I’m not under investigation!

Much like he has done publicly on Twitter, Trump has told friends and associates that the investigation is a “witch hunt” and that others are out to get him.

One adviser who has spoken with Trump and his top aides said...

It’s basically all he talks about on the phone,

Politico has reported that friends relatives and aides have reportedly been trying change the subject to "buck up" Trump by telling him to be patient, agreeing that it is a “witch hunt” and urging him to just let it play out — and reassuring him, “Eventually, you will be cleared,” in the words of one.

Much of the day is apparently spent trying to keep Donald off of Twitter and focus on his job while highlighting only the positive reviews he receives.

Reports say much of his anger at this time is channeled at both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and investigative special counsel Robert Mueller, both of whom the president believes are biased against him. Trump is rumored to be close to firing one if not both of them.

With One Tweet Trump Confirms He Is Under Investigation And Throws His Own Justice Department Under The Bus

This morning Donald Trump not only confirmed that is being investigated for possible obstruction of justice but also blamed his own Justice Department for the probe...All in 140 characters!

No small feat.

Trump achieved this through his chosen method of communication which is of course Twitter...

Until now it was the modus operandi of the White House to vehemently maintain that Trump was not under investigation and to shout down anyone who implied differently.

But it's right there in the first four words of his very own tweet...

"I am under investigation"

That's pretty definitive.

It was with his remaining twitter characters that he proceeded to throw Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, to the wolves.

Remember it was Trump himself, during a May 11th NBC Lester Holt interview, that referred to Rosenstein as...

"highly respected -- very good guy, very smart guy. The Democrats like him. The Republicans like him."

What a difference an obstruction of justice charge makes!

Trump tweet tirade comes from the fact that after he fired former FBI Director James Comey the White House tried to float that he did so due to a memorandum Rosenstein had authored as the reason Trump had to do so.

This was of course was proven to be a lie when Trump stomped all over that talking point in the same May 11th NBC Lester Holt interview where Trump praised Rosenstein when he told Holt in no uncertain terms that he was going to can Comey regardless of the recommendation from the Justice Department...

"I was going to fire Comey-- my decision. There is no good time to do it, by the way. I was going to fire regardless of recommendation."

So in reality Trump should be crapping on himself in today's tweet instead of Rosenstein.

Trump's real anger at Rosenstein undoubtably stems from the fact that he personally appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special prosecutor in the investigation of alleged collusion between Trump associates and Russia.

Rosenstein was in essence the only one who could make the call since Trump's Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, had to recuse himself from the investigation for failing to disclose during his confirmation hearings that he had met with Russian officials no less than three times.

On a final note, back in May, it was rumored that Rosenstein had threatened to quit if the White House continued to maintain that he authored the memo for the express purpose of getting Comey fired. I imagine he now wishes he had done just that.

Trump Sells Qatar $12 billion Of U.S. Weapons Days After He Calls Them "High Level" Sponsors Of Terrorism

If you were ever looking for an instance that sums up the ineptitude and disfuntionality of this Trump administration this just might be it.

Donald Trump's berating of Qatar for sponsoring terrorism while simultaneously authorizing the countries purchase over $12 billion dollars of U.S. weapons is a microcosm of the entire, albeit short, Trump tenure.

It began on June 9th when Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, called for an immediate easing of the US ban on the Qataris.

But mere hours later Donald Trump, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, cut Tillerson's legs out from underneath him saying...

"The nation of Qatar has unfortunately been a funder of terrorism, and at a very high level." Adding "the time has come to call on Qatar to end its funding."

Nice. I'm guessing the two hadn't talked that day.

I'm guessing here also but I'm going to go ahead and posit that Donald had no clue that there are more than 10,000 U.S. service members at the U.S. central command base in Qatar.

Anyway, fast forward to this week when on Tuesday morning when the knee-capped Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubier. As the Saudis are Qatar's regional nemesis I imagine there was plenty of high stakes deal making involved as well as chocolate cake.

Then on Wednesday, as if by magic, Defense Secretary James Mattis formally signed the $12 billion dollar letter of offer and acceptance for the Qatari arms deal!

So happy about the sale the Qatari ambassador to the U.S. even tweeted a photo of the signing...

That's sweet.

Trying to square the deal in light of Trump's terror accusation the State Department's excuse for the arms deal is that it did not "directly" conflict with the current regional dispute as it will take years to complete and fill the sale in full.

But wait there's more! Let's go a little further down this bottomless pit of a rabbit hole.

The full $12 billion dollar arms sale was already notified in November 2016!!!!

This means it had already been authorized by congress and the executive branch while President Obama was in office.

Despite the fact that this was a done deal even before the Trump administration even stepped foot into the Oval Office Mr. Trump, during the recent visit to the Middle East, made a point of telling reporters during a photo-op with the Qatari emir that he was going to sell Qatar...

"big beautiful weapons."

There is no making sense of this shit show anymore.

Vice President Mike Pence Has Lawyered Up!

The noose is tightening.

Today the office of Vice President Mike Pence issued a statement that a lawyer was retained in direct response to the probes into whether there was collusion between Donald Trump and his election campaign with Russia.

This news breaks as we learned last Thursday that Trump had hired his own lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, to help with the probes by a special counsel and congressional committees.

As opposed to Trump who hired New York based Lawyer and long time friend Marc Kasowitz Pence instead chose Richard Cullen, a former U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia and has long ties to former FBI Director James Comey.

Cullen, unlike Kasowitz, has represented many former politicians such as the former majority leader of the U.S. House of Representatives Tom DeLay, corrupt Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff, former Sen. Paul Tribe during the Iran-Contra investigation and was on the staff of former Rep. M. Caldwell Butler during the Watergate investigation.

Reportedly Pence had been looking at hiring his own counsel for several weeks, and made his decision earlier this week after interviewing several candidates.

In what can only be seen as floating a trial balloon for his future defense against the Russian collusion question a Pence spokesman told the media that the Vice President was "out of the loop" during the transition.

Trump's Disapproval Rating Hits An All Time High

According to a brand spanking new poll From Gallup more people disapprove of Donald Trump's job performance this week than at any point during his short tenure.

The organization's daily tracking poll showed that disapproval of Trump has reached 60 percent, with only a 36 percent approval rating.

Gallup also reported that Trump's average weekly approval hit a new low of 37 percent. The results reflect the week ending June 11.

There is still a large degree of polarization among the parties over how Americans perceive of Trump's performance, according to Gallup. He has only a 9 percent of approval by Democrats, opposed to an 86 percent average approval from Republicans. Independents approve of Trump's job at a rate of 36 percent.

If you were wondering how Donny's disapproval numbers stack up against recent occupants of the White House...

TRUMP UNDER INVESTIGATION! Report: FBI Opens Obstruction Of Justice Probe, Trump Fires Back On Twitter

The Washington Post, citing unnamed officials, has reported that Donald Trump is being investigated by special counsel Robert Mueller for obstruction of justice.

Mueller is investigating alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

You'll remember that last week Former FBI Director James Comey told Congress that he believed he was fired by Trump to undermine the agency’s Russia probe.

It seems to have done just the opposite as the obstruction of justice investigation was apparently opened up the day after Trump fired Comey.

Several legal experts have said that Comey’s testimony that Trump expected loyalty and told Comey he hoped he could drop an investigation of a former top aide could bolster obstruction of justice allegations against Trump.

In addition to the bombshell news of the investigation into Trump the Washington Post reported that Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, Mike Rogers, the head of the National Security Agency, and Richard Ledgett, the former deputy director at the NSA, had agreed to be interviewed by Mueller’s investigators as early as this week.

Trump’s legal team quickly denounced the reports as a spokesman for Trump’s legal team, Mark Corallo, said...

The FBI leak of information regarding the President is outrageous, inexcusable and illegal,

Trump of course took to Twitter to voice his displeasure...

After Comey’s testimony, Trump also took to twitter to claim he felt "Totally vindicated" because he claimed that the former FBI director had told him on three occasions that he was not under investigation.

It seems that Trump's declaration was just a wee bit premature.

After The Shooting At A Congressional Baseball Practice Right Wingers Rush To Blame "The Left"

Yesterday a lone gunman opened fire on a congressional baseball practice in Virginia wounding at least five people, including Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), a Republican staffer and a pair of Capitol Hill police officers.

The shooter was killed during the incident.

At the time the FBI was actively investigating the shooter and his potential motivations and have stated that it is still too early to determine the shooters motivation.

Yet, before the shooters name was even made public right wing partisan were trying to score political points with only the sparsest of facts available to them.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was at the practice and after the shooting called Fox News and said that while he was getting in a car to leave, “There was a guy who walked up to us that was asking whether there was Republican or Democrats" out on the field at the time. DeSantis added, however, that he wasn’t sure if the man who walked up to him was the shooter, and there are conflicting reports about what the shooter was wearing.

Regardless Fox News, sensing a chance to sow division and open up a talking point that would enrage their viewers ran with DeSantis statement within minutes!...

As it was only Republicans who were shot so the inference was clear.

After the shooter was named as 66 year old James Hodgkinson, a Bernie Sanders supporter from Belleville, Illinois, the right officially let loose. All this despite the fact that Hodgkinson had a long criminal record, a history of violence towards women and appears to have been suffering from mental illness and living out of his van for three months.

None of that mattered as they had political points to score and a rabid base that needed their talking points for their internet rants that night...

Newt Gingrich, one of Donald Trump‘s most prominent surrogates, appeared on Fox's Outnumbered,  railed against “the increasing intensity of hostility on the left”...

"You’ve had an increasing intensity of hostility on the left. I talk to college students regularly who say to me, if they openly are for Trump, they get threatened with getting beaten up, some of them get death threats. The intensity on the left that is very real, whether it is somebody holding up, a so-called comedian holding up the president’s head and blood, or whether it’s right here in New York City, a play that shows the president being assassinated, or it’s Democratic leading national politicians who are so angry they have to use vulgarity because they can’t find any common language to talk. This intensity has been building, I think since election night."

Rep. Steve King  (R-Iowa) also blaming “the left” for the mass shooting telling the Washington Post:

America has been divided and the center of America is disappearing, and the violence is appearing in the streets, and it’s coming from the left."

FACT CHECK: Kim Weaver, the Democratic nominee who planned to challenge King for his seat next year, had to drop out of the race earlier this month, citing death threats.

Lou Dobbs said on his Fox Business show...

"As we have seen the secular left rise and hostility within it rise, it has become a threat to domestic order, and to this administration. It's irrational, and there is no, if you will, mitigation on the part of the national left-wing media. Indeed, they have become collaborators, accomplices in those acts of subversion and the effort to undercut this lawful administration. This is something we've never experienced."

Eric Bolling of Fox News’ The Specialists blamed the shooting on a “sea change” in how liberals talk about political opponents. He pointed to examples like Democrats saying the GOP health care bill would kill people, as well as Snoop Dogg‘s music video featuring a Trump stand-in being shot and Kathy Griffin‘s recent photoshoot....

...Snoop Dogg's gun, Kathy Griffin's head, Shakespeare's bloody rampage -- it goes on and on. How many innocent people have to die before we realize that words do matter? Crazy people act on the crazy things they hear from politicians and celebrities. Think before you utter those blind, hateful words next time, liberals, because there are crazy people out there taking your metaphors literally."

Jesse Watters of Fox News' The Five said of the shooter...

Sadly, this is par for the course for a hardcore, anti-Trump Democrat.”... “This violence is only coming from one side recently. People need to think, ‘What’s the common denominator here?’ If this were Republicans and Trump supporters going out there rioting and burning things and shooting Democrats, it’d be a whole other story.

Tucker Carlson claimed the left advocating for the shooting so they can destroy America...

That is why shooting a congressman for party affiliation is worse than killing a man in a bar because he hit on your wife. They are both horrifying and immoral, but only one could lead to civil war. Some on the hard left understand this and that’s exactly why they support it because political violence could lead to the dissolution of a country they despise.

Greg Gutfeld of Fox News' "The Five" chimed in with this...

"Socialism has always advocated revolution. Radical leftism has always advocated violent revolution. So, this guy was essentially radicalized by the left-wing media. He was radicalized. He was troubled, he was a violent disgusting human being, but he ingested this information."

Donald Trump Jr. linked the shooting with New York’s Public Theater’s controversial production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” a play meant to illustrate the futility of political violence which was obviously lost on him....

Michael Savage, the fringe wingnut radio talker tweeted...

Joe Walsh, another rabid conservative talk show host tweeted......

Wayne Allyn Root, a right-wing commentator, conspiracy theorist and Trump toadie...

And let's not forget the people they were preaching to.

Here are some social media posts from the right wing gen-pop that has been making the rounds through the day/night...

Meanwhile, David Frum, a conservative speechwriter for President George W. Bush, summed up the real problem perfectly...

Then there is the uncomfortable fact that according to the shooter's social media indicates he also hated Hillary Clinton & voted for Jill Stein.

As if it mattered this was the 153rd mass shooting of the year, in just 165 days.

Mass shootings in 2017 are so far outpacing the rate seen in recent years.
