A Grand Jury Issues Subpoenas For Donald Trump Jr. And The Russian Lawyer He Met With

Reuters has reported that a grand jury that was impaneled by special counsel Robert Meuller has issued subpoenas for Donald Trump Jr. and Natalia Veselnitskaya

Veselnitskaya is the Russian lawyer who promised the Trump campaign information that would “incriminate” his father’s opponent, Hillary Clinton as part of the Russian government’s effort to benefit Trump.

Legal minds believe the subpoenas are a major indicator that Mueller is investigating whether anyone at the meeting or affiliated with the Trump campaign encouraged Russia to release damaging material it had collected on Clinton and whether Trump had been informed of the meeting ahead of time.

A lawyer for Trump, Jay Sekulow, appeared unworried about the grand jury and it's issuing of subpoenas telling Fox News...

"This is not an unusual move"

Sekulow, earning that retainer.
