Trump Leaves Washington For 17 Day Vacation! Has Now Officially Spent 30% Of His Time In Office On Vacation

Today Donald Trump departed the White House for his National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey for what the administration is calling a 17-day "working" vacation.

This trip will mark Trump's 13th vacation since he took office.

During Trump's vacations he has visited that same Bedminster golf club five times, his club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida seven times, and visited Camp David in Maryland once.

Trump has also filled his coffers on his trips as he usually stays at one of his properties. To date he has spent 59 days at a Trump owned property out of his 169 days in office and that's not counting this 17 day jaunt to Jersey!

And while Trump is raking in the dough his golf outings alone have cost the taxpayers at the very minimum of $56 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!

Plus, on a number of occasions this year Trump has left the White House and visited his Trump National Golf Club in Virginia but hasn't confirmed whether or not he was golfing so those can't be definitively counted.

So far, in six months, Mr. Trump has more than doubled the vacation days away from the White House than President Obama did in his first year in office.

According to President Obama only...

"spent all or part of 26 days "on vacation" during his first year as president"

Trump will have a whopping 73 vacation days under his belt after this latest sabbatical.

What makes the whole thing so galling is Trump and his minions hypocrisy.

Donald Trump was relentless on Twitter and during his campaigning in his criticism of President Obama for his vacation days and golf outings.

Hell, at this point in his presidency Obama hadn't even gone on a golf outing yet!

And is there a peep out of those that voted for Trump and cheered as he bashed Obama?

Nothing! Nada! Crickets!

But like so many things Trump and his supporters have conveniently changed their positions on the matter of vacations and golf outings for the Dear Leader now that he has ascended to the throne.
