Of Congressmen And Cantaloupes

Republican Representative Of Iowa And Racist Steve King
When I first heard about Rep. Steve King of Iowa's latest racist outburst last week I thought I would let it go. I said to myself it's Steve King after all. He's a sub-par moron who talks directly out of his ass and everyone who knows him pretty much accepts this as a fact. Nobody takes him seriously and what difference would it make if I commented on this particular incident or not. It's one in what seems like a million insanely racist things he has said in the past so I'll just let it go.

I then re-read the comments and thought the better of it. Who is this raging twat with a cesspool for a brain and what insipid lobotomized mental patients voted for him. What would make him think he could say this thing and why would I ever think it was alright to let it pass without calling him out on it.

King's racist comment that I am speaking of is from an interview he gave for the conservative puke factory Newsmax in which he disparaged (yet again) undocumented workers and their children. His exact words were as follows...

For every one who’s a valedictorian, there’s another hundred out there who they weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’ve been hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert,”

That's correct. Steve King is in fact saying that undocumented workers in the United States are more often drug mules than honor students at a ratio of 100 to 1.

As if this statement alone wasn't heinous enough he still wasn't finished.

King then went on to challenge proponents of the immigration law to “define the difference between the innocent ones who have deep ties with America and those who have, I’ll say, been undermining our culture and civilization and profiting from criminal acts.”

Here is the video of King's remarks courtesy of Right Wing Watch...
Even with this King hadn't reached his quota of outright blatant racism because earlier in the week in an interview with Univision King refused to apologize for comparing immigrants to dogs.

All Class as usual for the Rep. from Iowa. How proud they must be.
