Donald Trump Just Gave An Embarrassing, Childish And Inappropriate Speech In Front Of The 2017 National Boy Scout Jamboree (FULL VIDEO)

On Monday Donald Trump traveled to Glen Jean, West Virginia, to deliver an address to the Boy Scouts of America 2017 National Scout Jamboree.

Trump, perhaps not realizing that he was speaking to young children, turned the event into an embarrassingly self aggrandizing campaign-style rally.

Perhaps it was the fact that there were an estimated 30 to 40 thousand in attendance that got Donny's juices flowing but it was soon apparent that Trump would not be sticking to the script.

Trump starting off his rambling address by complaining that the "the fake media, fake news," would downplay the size of his audience.

Boy, you have a lot of people here. The press will say it’s about 200 people. It looks like about 45,000 people. You set a record today. You set a record. That’s a great honor, believe me."

This despite the fact that a news release prior to the event said they anticipated would be more than 40,000 people whether Trump showed or not.

Trump then said he'd put aside the "fake news" and other issues in Washington...

"I said, who the hell wants to speak about politics when I'm in front of the Boy Scouts?"

Despite his assertion Trump dove into his campaign highlight reel anyway.

When Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, a former Scout, came out onstage, Trump decided it was time to tell the kids about Obamacare. He told them the upcoming vote in the Senate that could mean the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama's signature domestic legislation...

"Hopefully he's going to get the votes tomorrow to start our path toward killing this horrible thing known as Obamacare that's really hurting us,"

Trump then addressed Tom Price personally and told him if he didn't get the votes...

"I'll say, 'Tom, you're fired,"

Then Trump began listing off the virtues of Boy Scouts Trump saying...

"As the scout law says, a scout is trustworthy, loyal. We could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that."

Trump's comments came the very same day he threw his Attorney General and longtime supporter, Jeff Sessions, under the bus when he called him "beleaguered" in an early morning tweet storm.

Trump then made reference to his number one nemesis President Obama not having attended a jamboree prompting "boos" from the kids when he asked them...

"By the way, just a question, did President Obama ever come to a jamboree?"

Then Trump went into a truly bizarre, long, meandering story about a real-estate developer named William Levitt and engaged in “interesting” activities on his yacht, meeting Levitt at a hot New York party, Levitt going "personally bankrupt" and how Levitt’s life lost “momentum”.

Here is a small segment of the amazingly inappropriate story...

[Levitt] he sold his company for a tremendous amount of money. At the time especially — this was a long time ago... sold his company for a tremendous amount of money. And he went out and bought a big yacht, and he had a very interesting life. I won’t go on any more than that because you’re Boy Scouts, so I’m not going to tell you what he did.” [Audience boos.] “Should I tell you? Should I tell you?” [Audience shouts, “Yes!”] “Oh, you’re Boy Scouts, but you know life. You know life. So... look at you. Who would think this is the Boy Scouts, right?. So, he had a very, very interesting life, and the company that bought his company was a big conglomerate …” - Trump explains that years later Levitt bought his company back - “He so badly wanted it, he got bored with this life of yachts and sailing and all of the things he did in the south of France and other places. You won’t get bored, right? You know, truthfully, you’re workers. You’ll get bored, too. Believe me. Of course, having a few good years like that isn’t so bad.

After that uplifting story it was time to regale the kids with how he won the election!

Trump started by fondly remembering his victory against Hillary Clinton asking the Scouts...

"Do you remember that famous night on television, November 8?"

He then told the children that the Republicans had a tremendous disadvantage in the Electoral College and that the popular vote (which he lost to Clinton) "is much easier."

He went on to tell the Scouts his victory was...

"an unbelievable tribute to you and all of the other millions and millions of people that came out and voted for Make America Great Again."

Trump then thanks his audience, which consisted largely of children, for voting for him last November.

Trump even went into his shtick on the "War On Christmas" telling the kids in attendance...

In the Scout Oath, you pledge on your honor to do your best and to do your duty to God and your country. And by the way, under the Trump administration, you’ll be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again when you go shopping. Believe me. Merry Christmas."

Here is the complete video of the embarrassment...

The Boy Scouts of America issued a statement in response to Trump's appearance on Monday, clarifying that the Scouts did not endorse Trump nor did the group support a particular "position, product, service, political candidate or philosophy," and that it is the customary tradition to extend an invitation to the sitting president.

Dozens of former Boy Scouts condemned President Donald Trump’s address Monday to nearly 40,000 young men gathered at the group’s 2017 National Scout Jamboree, saying efforts to politicize his speech were “embarrassing,” “mortifying” and a “disgusting display.”

Here are some responses to Trump's performance...
